Justin Hartley says that he and wife Sofia Pernas’ willingness to spend unlimited time together is “probably annoying to other people” — but he’s totally fine with it.
“We really love doing things together,” Hartley, 48, told PEOPLE exclusively at the June 18 premiere of the new action-comedy Bride Hard in West Hollywood, Calif.
The This Is Us alumnus told PEOPLE that his daughter, Isabella Justice, 20, whom he shares with ex-wife Lindsay Korman, is often “away at school,” leaving him and Pernas, 35, to have more time together: “My wife and I really enjoy being together all the time. But I really do enjoy doing everything with her, going to her events, my events, everything. It’s incredible. So just different experiences,” Hartley explained.

The actor took his wife and daughter to the action-comedy’s premiere — but joked to PEOPLE, “It’s not like I dragged them.”
Hartley and Pernas wed in 2021; after his marriage to Korman ended in 2012, Hartley and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause were married from 2017 to 2020. The actor and Pernas first met on the set of The Young and the Restless in 2015, but as Hartley told Haute Living, “I knew that she was very kind and very nice. I liked being around her. But I was in a different place in my life. I wasn’t available.”

They reconnected in 2019, and two years later, got married in a secret ceremony. As Hartley previously told PEOPLE, “every night’s a date night” with his wife.
“It took me a long time to get here, and I am just surrounded by the best people,” he told PEOPLE in February 2024. “[I’m] just completely at peace.”
