Beliebers, unite!
Following the news that Justin Bieber will be one of the headlining performers at Coachella 2026, the pop star’s fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate what they’ve dubbed #Bieberchella.
“I WOKE UP TO JUSTIN BIEBER HEADLINING COACHELLA NEWS ?????” one fan posted, while another wrote: “Always said id never go to Coachella unless Justin Bieber was headlining and well damn.”
The 2026 festival lineup was announced on Sept. 16, revealing that Bieber will headline alongside fellow pop star Sabrina Carpenter, reggaeton queen Karol G and EDM producer Anyma.
After the star-studded lineup was confirmed, Bieber fans also went on to ponder which of his myriad hits will make the set list at his shows at the Indio, Calif., festival, which will take place April 10-12 and April 17-19. (Bieber is set to hit the stage for the Saturday shows, April 11 and 18.)
“We’re not realizing how Insane a Justin Bieber Coachella set would actually be,” one X user posted, alongside a video collage including clips of some of his hits, from “Baby” and “Boyfriend” to “Sorry” and “Yummy.” Another fan posted a similar video medley of Bieber hits, writing, “justin bieber confirmed to headline coachella …. and let’s be real, his discography is so goated he could also headline the superbowl the same year.” And another posted that “not knowing what will be the bieberchella setlist is going to keep me up at night until next april.”
On Sept. 22, the official Coachella Instagram account posted that all 2026 passes were “sold out.” “She’s gone, dance on. See you in April,” the account added, quoting a Disclosure song.
The 2026 iteration of the festival has been one of the buzziest in years. Since Coachella returned post-pandemic in 2022, the festival in recent years has taken longer than usual to sell out its opening weekend, and second weekend tickets were often available until the event, the L.A. Times reported.
While Bieber has made surprise Coachella performance appearances in the past — he joined Ariana Grande onstage in 2019, then Tems in 2024 — next year will be his first time as both a performer and headliner at the festival.
The Coachella news comes after Bieber’s return to music this summer with his album Swag (which he released in July), followed by its follow-up Swag II in September.
