Jonathan Bailey is dancing his way down Sesame Street as Wicked: For Good heads to theaters.
PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive Bailey, 37, made an appearance on the beloved children’s television program on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in a pair of videos that see the actor meet Bert and Ernie for a little Wicked-themed dance party and take on a quiet moment of peace with Elmo.
“We’re dancing through life, Bert,” Bailey told the iconic duo as the group danced together, in reference to Bailey’s big number “Dancing Through Life,” as seen in 2024’s Wicked: Part One.
The British actor also sat on a bench with Elmo during his Sesame Street appearance, “taking a moment for myself” in the autumn sunshine.

“Sometimes I do nothing, and sometimes I just sit and listen to the leaves,” Bailey added. “And then I think about all the things that make me smile, like my family and friends. Friends like you. And I’ll think about and appreciate all the things I’ve done this year.”
“And maybe there are some adventures and moments that we’re yet to experience,” he said, as he and Elmo agreed to get hot chocolate together. “Remember, give yourself a moment. A moment for whatever you need.”
