Jesse Williams is on the hunt for answers — and a missing girl — in Hotel Costiera.
In the upcoming Prime Video series, Williams stars as a half Italian former U.S. Marine Daniel De Luca, who “returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano,” according to an official synopsis.
While handling wealthy guests’ troubles, Daniel also sets out to find Alice, “one of the owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier,” the description states. “Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced. ”

In PEOPLE’s exclusive first look at the trailer for Hotel Costiera, Daniel isn’t messing around when it comes to his role as a fixer.
After pushing his way inside a home to confront a group of men, Daniel is held at knifepoint. However, he appears to be unshaken and says, “I am at a bit of a personal and professional crossroads if I’m being honest.”
He then takes down all three men and asks, “Where is she?” before he can be seen holding a small dog.
When a hotel guest asks who Daniel is, the hotel owner clarifies, “He takes care of my guests.”
“A concierge?” the guest questions, and Daniel says, “Something like that.”
However, it is clear that his work goes way beyond a concierge as he is seen fighting on the street and a yacht.
Danny has the “work hard, play hard” mentality down pat.
After a night of partying, Adele (Maria Chiara Giannetta) finds him and says, “Oh my, you smell like a distillery, Daniel. Perhaps you could do us all the favor of taking a shower.”
“Oh, not your worst idea,” he responds as he adjusts his clothing.

Daniel quickly gets back to business after he is informed of a new “situation.”
“Have you seen her? She’s missing. I’m trying to locate her for her father,” he says of Alice.
“Go get the clowns,” the hotel owner says, to which Daniel replies, “You mean my team?”
Daniel and Tancredi (Sam Haygarth) then go undercover as “rich, dull American tourists.”
“Do not draw attention to yourself,” Daniel advises.
However, nothing goes as plan as Tancredi introduces himself in a bad American accident, saying, “I’m Johnny. I’m an American.”
“Oh, for Christ sake,” Daniel mutters before getting back to the task at hand.
Daniel reassures the Alice’s father, saying, “I’ll find her. I promise you that” and he responds, “Do whatever you need to do,”

After Daniel reveals that he was a marine, a woman thinks she has him all figured out.
“You solve other people’s problems. Just not your own,” she says, to which admits, “I’ll get to mine eventually.”
Before the trailer concludes, Daniel finds himself in trouble again as he is threatened at gunpoint. “Bring me that necklace or you never see your face again,” a man tells Daniel.
In addition to Williams, Giannetta and Haygarth, Hotel Costiera stars Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva and Jean-Hugues Anglade.
