Jesse McCartney’s wife, Katie Peterson, has a sweet way of keeping the new dad close to his son.
On Tuesday, Oct. 14, the boy mom shared snaps of her and son Archer, nearly 4 months, attending the In Technicolor artist’s New York City show at The Rooftop at Pier 17. In the photos, Peterson, 37, shared several pictures from backstage and throughout the day.
In several of the shots, baby Archer can be seen wrapped in a custom-made blanket with the words “Beautiful Soul” stitched in white scripted letters. The blanket sweet nod to McCartney’s 2004 hit “Beautiful Soul.”
“Apparently the answer to “How Do You Sleep” is at daddy’s concert 🎧👶🏼 🏹” she captioned the photos.
In the comment section, McCartney, 38, shared a sweet comment to his wife and son. “He’s my favorite roadie!! Miss you guys! ❤️😍🥰,” the All My Children actor wrote.
This wasn’t the little one’s first time seeing his dad perform. The “Beautiful Soul” singer had his two favorite people in the crowd during his surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ Greetings from Your Hometown tour.

After the show, Peterson shared a recap via Instagram from Archer’s first concert experience. The proud mom posted a few snaps and videos of her family of three before and after the concert. Peterson captioned the post, “Archers 1st concert ✔️🎧🏹.”
McCartney and Peterson welcomed their first child three months early in May. On Tuesday, June 17, the couple shared the first public photos of their baby boy, who was originally due in early August, to social media.
“Archer James McCartney took center stage on 5/7/25 💙🏹 ,” the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip actor and Peterson began in a joint Instagram post.
A carousel of images from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) accompanied the caption, showing the newborn dressed in an all-white onesie with baby blue stitching. “Archer” was written in cursive on the front of the garment, over his chest.
“Our sweet Archie couldn’t wait to meet us and arrived a bit earlier than expected. We are so in love with him,” the proud parents said.
