NEED TO KNOW
Jenny McCarthy isn’t mincing words when it comes to her thoughts on AI.
McCarthy, 53, appeared on the Jan. 7 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to dish about a host of issues — including an admission from Southern Charm star Craig Conover that he used ChatGPT to process his feelings over his breakup with Paige DeSorbo.
“I wanna know, Jenny, your reaction to Craig telling Whitner he cried while talking to ChatGPT about Paige,” show host Andy Cohen, 57, asked.
“Well, first of all, the fact that he cries for ChatGPT, it’s a little bit — I don’t know — feminine?,” McCarthy replied.
She added, “You can get advice from it, but when you’re having an emotional relationship with your phone … that’s what I call a red flag.”
Conover, 36, and DeSorbo, 33, announced that they had gone their separate ways in December 2024 after three years of dating.
During the Dec. 30, 2024, episode of her Giggly Squad podcast, DeSorbo told co-host Hannah Berner that she and Conover had “decided to no longer be together.”

“I have so much love and respect for Craig. I think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life,” DeSorbo said.
She added, “I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him and he truly will get the best because he is the best. But with that said, I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn’t force.”
Conover opened up about the split for the first time several weeks later in a post on his Instagram Stories on Jan. 7, 2025, sharing that he had not expected the breakup.

“I figured it’s finally time to check in with everyone,” he wrote. “Sorry about the delay, this has all been very, very unexpected to say the least … But I guess I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like — I have to start.”
The former couple — who were initially friends for several years before they began dating — first met in 2019.
