An artist who spent nine hours painting a portrait of Jennifer Lopez was invited backstage to her concert!
On Saturday, July 12, Spanish painter Esther Moya González — who is known for live-painting musicians outside of their shows — was able to gift the superstar the piece of artwork and have a meet and greet with her.

Alongside the caption, González shared an image of the final, life-like portrait of Lopez, 55, where she’s gazing over her shoulder, as well as various snaps that were works in progress while she was standing outside the Movistar Arena in Madrid before the concert.

She also shared snaps of her watching the “On the Floor” musician’s concert.
González also shared an Instagram Reel detailing her experience making the portrait, presenting it backstage to Lopez and watching the concert.

In the video, someone from Lopez’s crew tells a shocked González that the actress and musician is behind the backstage door and the artist presents her canvas and covers her mouth in disbelief.

“This is very heavy,” she says, as she details the nine hours she spent on the piece.
“DREAM FULFILLED ✨ Painting delivered to @jlo ❤️ at her concert in Madrid painted in 9 hours, thank you from the heart to all ❤️❤️ JLO has said that my painting is AMAZING! 🔥,” she captioned the post.
An anxious González then reveals she’s unsure how she’ll react when she meets Lopez.
The footage then features the “Get Right” artist sporting a sparkly purple crop top and low-rise jeans, next to the painting and saying, “It is so good! Wow. I’ve seen paintings of myself that are not good. This is amazing.”
After meeting Lopez, González teared up while detailing the people who helped make her dream come true.

Lopez is currently in the midst of her Up All Night Live in 2025 tour, which will wrap Aug. 10.
The 19-show run is her first tour since 2019’s It’s My Party tour.
