Jennifer Lopez is getting emotional as she celebrates a special milestone in her teen’s life.
On Monday, Aug. 25, the “On the Floor” artist, 56, shared a few snaps on her Instagram Stories after she dropped her child Emme, 17, off at school for their first day of senior year. Lopez, who shares her twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, posted a throwback snap of her and the teen, saying that Emme will “always be my beautiful baby.”
“I just dropped off this little coconut to their first day of senior year. Looking back at this photo from a few years ago, it just reminds me that they’ll always be my beautiful baby!” Lopez sweetly wrote over the photo, adding four black heart emojis.

In addition to Emme, The Mother actress is a mom to son Max. She welcomed her twins in February 2008.
“It’s unconditional love,” she previously told PEOPLE of motherhood. “I know everybody feels this way about their kids, but I just feel like they’re super special. I can’t wait to see what they do.”
The Atlas star recently recapped her summer getaway trip to the Hamptons via Instagram, sharing a selfie with Emme. The pair was joined by vocal coach Stevie Mackey as they sat in the backseat of the car, and the wind blew through their hair.
The post also featured several solo shots of Lopez, who wore white jeans and a cream hoodie, next to bikes. The actress simply captioned the post, “Le Sunshine ☀️.”

The Hustlers star and the teen recently had a special evening out on Broadway. The doting mom shared photos to her Instagram from her night out, saying Emme was the “best date ever.”
Lopez shared selfies and a sweet video of the duo shimmying as they prepared for the evening. At the end of the quick clip, Lopez leaned in for a kiss.
“Othello premiere with the best date ever ✨,” she wrote in the caption.
