The Jennifer Hudson Show is returning for its fourth season… with one major change!
Jennifer Hudson announced on Thursday, Sept. 11, that her daytime talk show is set to come back with a revamped Spirit Tunnel. PEOPLE has an exclusive sneak peek of the newly renovated space, which has become a tradition for guests on the series.
The tunnel is one of the show’s more iconic elements, and invites the guests to walk down the hallway lined with Hudson’s staffers to the stage. The group cheers the guests on with catchy chants to excite them for their appearances.
In the sneak peek, Hudson visits the refreshed hallway with its new decorations, including framed photos of Hudson, 43, with various guests — including Derek Hough, Jimmy Kimmel, Usher and Adam Levine — throughout the series’ tenure.
In the clip, Hudson immediately says how “good” the renovated space looks.
“I can feel your energy,” she says. “Y’all ain’t ready for season 4. It feels like a museum of beautiful memories that we’ve created here together.”
She then walks down the hallway, pointing out special memories, including a sweet moment with her sister Julia and cooking with her friend and co-worker Wally Bean (real name Walter Williams III).
“That’s family right there,” she says.

“Look at all these memories we’ve created,” the EGOT winner continues. “When you come through, not only will you get to experience the Spirit Tunnel, but all of this will reflect all the great memories we’ve created, which is why this is so special.”
As she continues to make her way through the hallway, she says, “Look, I’m going down memory lane as I look up and will be able to come in here and be like, ‘I remember this moment and this moment. Oh my god, I was a part of it.’”
She then calls out a photo of Aaron Pierre enjoying the Spirit Tunnel, which became a viral moment when he delivered the now-iconic dance to the chant “Aaron Pierre, that’s Mufasa” in December 2024.
Hudson concludes the video by telling viewers to watch the upcoming season of her talk show, which will premiere on Monday, Sept. 15.
The forthcoming season will feature appearances from Cardi B, Mariah Carey, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, mgk, Simon Cowell, Marlon Wayans, Reneé Rapp, Jessica Simpson and Josh Duhamel.

Hudson previously told PEOPLE that the Spirit Tunnel has taken over, revealing that guests have gone so far as to tell her they “want redos.”
“It has completely blown us away,” Hudson explained in August 2025. “I’m literally sitting in my chair, I have a monitor, and I can watch people as they’re walking down the Spirit Tunnel.”
“Do you know how long I’m out there waiting now? Because they’re like, ‘Okay, where’s the camera? Okay, cut, cut.’ It has really taken on a life of its own,” she joked.
The Dream Girls star explained that the producers came up with the idea, “They took all the elements of the things that I love. I love people, I love celebrating people, and my favorite way to do this is through music. So why not celebrate you?”
“This is just the energy that the Happy Place brings and that we love to give and we want you to feel at home and a part of it,” she said, later adding, “The memories that it creates, those are the things that I love to see people come together on one accord in positivity.”
