It may only be August, but sweater weather is officially on, according to Jennifer Garner, anyway. The actress was recently spotted in Los Angeles wearing my go-to lightweight layer: a cozy cardigan.

If I’m being honest, a cardigan is my go-to layer all year round, but transition seasons are when I find myself wearing them even more often. In addition to Garner, we’ve spotted Reese Witherspoon in the smart style at this time last year. This chunky knit sweater at Amazon looks similar to Garner’s thanks to its chunky knitted fabric and slightly oversized fit. You can dress it up with a skirt or dress it down with jeans.
