Jenelle Evans is weighing in on her son’s new chapter.
Five days after it was reported that her 16-year-old son Jace, who she shares with ex Andrew Lewis, had moved out to live with relatives in North Carolina, the Teen Mom star detailed her thoughts on his new living situation.
“It’s a full circle moment and hopefully he can change and follow the rules,” Jenelle—who is also mom to Kaiser, 11, with ex Nathan Griffith as well as daughter Ensley, 8, with ex David Eason—wrote on her Instagram Story Aug. 27, “but I have 2 other little kids to think of as well and their well being.”
The 33-year-old also shared how she feels about Jace’s experience mirroring her own difficult relationship with her mom Barbara Evans, who was in charge of Jace’s care for more than a decade until 2023.
“It’s the way he was raised with my mom,” Jenelle shared in another slide. “I had to rewire myself out of being too reactive in situations and learn to sit and listen. Had to teach myself not to cuss every other word like I grew up with and still working on it. I had to break the family cycle and it’s happening again.”
