Jen Affleck’s Husband Reveals She’s Been ‘Stuck in Bed’ Sick Ahead of DWTS

Jen Affleck has had a tough road to this week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars.

The MomToker, 26, has been sick ahead of Dedication Week, she first revealed on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Oct. 13.

Sharing a photo of herself in bed preparing to take a COVID/flu test, Affleck shared that while she doesn’t have COVID, she has been very sick all week.

“Couldn’t practice as much this week. With lots of rest and help from Zac and my family, we still pulled something off Ironic that my song is ‘Rescue.’ This week tested me in ways I never imagined,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself resting in bed.

Jen later shared a video of her playing the song for her mom, writing, “So many emotions going into this week’s performance. This song means everything to me-it’s for mothers who show up daily, serve without days off, and suffer in silence. Postpartum/prenatal included. I want every mom to feel seen and heard.”

She also shared a look at rehearsals, praising her dance partner Jan Ravnik for all his support through her difficult week.

“Even after I got really sick and missed practices, he stayed patient, and in the little time we had, helped perfect the dance and make it feel extra special for me and my mom,” she shared.

Jen’s husband, Zac, also opened up about the difficult week and shared his admiration for his wife’s resolve to push through.

“Jen is dedicating this weeks dance to her Mom, her kids, and just all the mothers! Anyone who knows Jen knows how amazing of a mom she is. This week she has been so sick. She hasn’t been able to practice, and has been stuck in bed most of the week🤒🥲,” he wrote.

“Call it chance or God, but her Mom has been in town this week to make her homemade meals and help take care of her. Jen would never ask but she really needs all the help and prayers she can get!”

Zac also shared that he was collecting stories from fans and friends of how Jen has inspired them to share with her ahead of her performance Tuesday night. The sweet gesture had some fans applauding the couple’s growth during their time in the public eye.
