Jason Isaacs bared it all in the third season of The White Lotus. However, it turns out that there was even more put on display in a cut scene.
The 62-year-old Harry Potter alum went viral after his character, Timothy Ratliff, accidentally exposed himself in a full-frontal nude scene during the show’s fourth episode. It all happened when a robe he was wearing opened and exposed his genitals in front of his onscreen wife and children, played by Parker Posey, Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
During a Monday, Aug. 18, appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Isaacs revealed to guest host Tiffany Haddish that he’d actually filmed a second nude scene, which he described as being even “funnier.”
“It was funny,” he said about the scene, adding, “The funnier one … There was a second flashing. The [scene] went on, and I did it again.”
He was momentarily shocked when Haddish pulled out a small green squirt gun and sprayed the Emmy nominee down.
“I figured I’d squirt you because I want to hear about the penis. I don’t want to hear about the scene. Tell me about the penis,” she said.
Isaacs continued, saying, “It made another appearance, and it was funnier the second time because they went, ‘Dad, put it away!’ But the rest of the scene didn’t work. And I said, ‘Mike, you cut my second d—.”

Describing the scene as “beautiful,” Haddish told the actor that she “paused it” and “took a look.”
“I was looking for veins,” she told Isaacs before informing the audience, “Because he definitely had a full frontal scene in White Lotus, in case you didn’t see it. I did! You should watch it.”
Isaacs seemed prepared to discuss the nude scene with Haddish, who described herself as “a peniotologist,” from the moment that he arrived on set.
“I think you’ve had enough of penis talk now,” he joked, referencing an earlier interview with Michelle Williams, where they discussed her hit show Dying for Sex.
She later chastised him, saying, “Don’t be trying to distract me from talking about your penis.”
Nivola and Hook previously confirmed that Isaacs was wearing a prosthetic penis for the scene.
“It was a prosthetic,” Hook told TV Insider, adding, “It was really funny. He was very excited to do it. I think he took pride in the prosthetic. He gave that guy a nice shot.”
Nivola remembered Isaacs’ reaction to filming the scene, recalling, “He’s like, ‘It’s my fake d— scene today!’ ”
Speaking to Decider in March, Isaacs said that the scene was a “great moment,” even though he said that nudity is “not something that I’m keen on doing in my social life or in my professional life.”
He joked that he thought the scenes were “digital,” saying, “I wasn’t there that day.”

The actor’s performance in the series earned him a nomination for the 2025 Emmy Awards. Isaacs is up to take home the trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
In the category, he competes with costars Sam Rockwell and Walton Goggins. Actresses Aimee Lou Wood, Carrie Coon, Natasha Rothwell and Parker Posey are all up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
The third season was also nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

“I was in this amazing show. A bunch of us are nominated,” Isaacs told Haddish. “It feels weird that the other people aren’t nominated as well. I just got to do crazy Shakespearean, dramatic things, and people notice it. But I think all the quiet people in the show were fantastic as well.”
He continued, saying, “Particularly my kids — Patrick, Sam and Sarah Catherine. And I thought that we did magnificent jobs, and I wish we were nominated as a family.”
