Jana Kramer’s husband Allan Russell has opened up about their sex life.
During the Wednesday, July 9, episode of iHeartRadio’s Whine Down podcast, he revealed why there’s “no point” in him masturbating since getting married to the One Tree Hill alum, 41, in July 2024.
“Since I met Jana and we’ve subsequently [gotten] married and had a baby and stuff, there’s no point — and I can be really honest in this — there’s no point where I actually feel like masturbating,” Russell, 44, said.

He added that the couple has a “healthy sex life” and that he enjoys “making love” to his wife. Russell added that they have “essential and physical moments” since they wed.
“So there’s a part of me [that] is like, I know it’s going to come, so I’m not going to ruin it by doing what I need to do selfishly for myself to then diminish or ruin the thing that we have together,” he said.
Added Russell: “Therefore I just don’t feel like doing it because I would rather have her than go into the bathroom or whatever it is and masturbate.”
Kramer noted that she didn’t “hate that answer,” while Russell said he would “masturbate a lot” when he was single, but now “feel like it.”
In January 2023, the country star made her relationship with Russell Instagram official.
Russell proposed to Kramer after six-and-a-half months of dating.
They wed in July 2024 following the birth of their first child, a son named Roman James, in November 2023.
Kramer’s romance with Russell marked her first public romance since she and boyfriend Ian Schinelli split in April 2022.
She was also previously married to Mike Caussin from May 2015 to July 2021 when they finalized their divorce. They hare two children: daughter Jolie Rae and son Jace Joseph.
