NEED TO KNOW
Home Alone celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2025, and Disney+ is going all out on a range of ways for fans to enjoy the film in real life — including making sure no other “Kevins” wind up home alone this year.
From December 17-21, Disney+ is partnering with CLEAR Activation at airports around the country. CLEAR members named Kevin who use CLEAR lanes while traveling will receive a code for complimentary CLEAR Concierge service for a future trip, and all other CLEAR members will receive Home Alone-themed ornaments at nine participating airports across the U.S.: ATL, DEN, EWR, JFK, LAX, LGA, MCO, ORD, and SEA.
The CLEAR partnership offers a nod to the film, which was written by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, and catapulted Macaulay Culkin to child superstardom when it premiered in November 1990.
Home Alone follows 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (played by Culkin, in a role for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe) as he is mistakenly left behind by his parents — played by John Heard and Catherine O’Hara — who jet off for a family vacation in Paris.
In their absence, he must defend his Chicago home from a pair of thieves by setting various traps around the house.

Among the traps Kevin sets in the film is one for his local pizza delivery guy — who works for the fictional Little Nero’s Pizzeria.
From December 10-17, Little Nero’s will come to life as Disney+ partners with Prince Street Pizza to transform two of their locations — those in Los Angeles and Chicago — into real-life Little Nero’s Pizzerias.
For the duration of the activation, Prince Street will outfit the interiors with Home Alone memorabilia, update signage and menu boards, and provide custom pizza boxes for fans to enjoy as part of the collaboration.
Disney also plans to break a Guinness World Record by building the world’s largest Gingerbread House between December 19 and 21, themed to Home Alone, with nods and iconography from other holiday favorites.

Since the original installment’s release, the actors have reunited to celebrate milestone anniversaries. Macaulay has also reprised his role in different campaigns, including the “Home but Not Alone” holiday ad in November 2025 to honor the movie’s 35th anniversary.
This year, Criterion Pictures and Standing Ovations LLC will present special anniversary screenings of Home Alone — titled A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin — at nationwide locations, followed by an exclusive live interview with Culkin as he shares behind-the-scenes stories and memories.
D23’s On the Road tour will also bring interactive screenings of Home Alone to 19 cities across the country, featuring themed activities and giveaways. Ticket pricing details are below and various dates are available on the website.
Home Alone spawned a six-film franchise, all the films of which are available to stream on Disney+ and will be available on Hulu beginning December 1.
