NEED TO KNOW
Heather Rae El Moussa is giving fans a hint at what to expect from season 2 of The Flip Off.
On Sunday, Aug. 24, Heather, 37, shared a joint Instagram video with her husband Tarek El Moussa and his ex wife Christina Haack as the trio teased juicy details about the upcoming season of their HGTV show.
The clip begins with the blended family and costars sitting together, playing a game of Two Truths and a Lie.
“I’ll go first: Tarek wears a toupee,” Christina, 42, said with a giggle, giving a nod to a persistent rumor that gets under her ex’s skin.
Next up was the Selling Sunset alum: “There may be a partner swap on season 2 of The Flip Off,” Heather said.
The teaser ended with Tarek, 44, saying, “I’m still the motherf—ing king of flipping!” as the first few seconds of Nicki Minaj’s verse on YG’s 2018 single “Big Bank” played.
Since Tarek doesn’t actually wear a toupee, the “two truths” must be Heather and Tarek’s statements, meaning a “partner swap” is on the agenda.

Their post came less than a week after HGTV officially announced The Flip Off would be getting a second season, and that the teams would be staying the same: Tarek and Heather vs. Christina.
In season one, Christina switched up her team with special guests from episode to episode, after her third husband Josh Hall suddenly exited the show amid their split. So some team shuffling isn’t out of the ordinary for the series.
Based on Heather’s tease, it seems likely that at least one episode will see the trio shaking up who’s battling against who.

Heather recently spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about how she would love to team up with Christina against Tarek on the house flipping showdown.
“I think that it would be super fun,” Heather told PEOPLE in late June. “I think that people would love to see Christina and I working together and beating my husband because he thinks that he could beat us, especially in a design contest.”
She admitted that Tarek was pretty “confident” that he could beat the both of them, making the idea of the ladies pairing up with each other even more intriguing for her.
“I’m so up for the challenge, and it’d be interesting to see how Christina and I work together and design together,” Heather told PEOPLE.

HGTV also announced more than 100 new episodes would be released on the network next year across several series, after the cancellation of seven fan-favorite shows caused backlash recently.
While The Flip Off has been given the green light for season two, Alison Victoria’s series, Battle on the Beach was canceled, which also featured HGTV veteran Ty Pennington.
Other cancellations included Jonathan Knight’s Farmhouse Fixer, Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson’s Married to Real Estate, Izzy Battres’s Izzy Does It and Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas’s Bargain Block.
