Heather Rae El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa are on the move!
On Thursday, June 19, the couple announced in a joint Instagram post that they are moving into a new property and will be documenting the process of transforming it into their perfect family home.
In the video, they showed themselves walking into the modern, unfurnished property before admiring the space and celebrating their purchase with a kiss. Heather, 37, could then be seen looking at swatches of different colors for their interior decor before they both stood holding one up to the wall.
“We have some news….We’re moving!!! We are so excited for this new chapter and new adventure for our family,” they captioned the post.

“We can’t wait to make this house a home and add our El Moussa design flare and show you guys some of the process .🏡✨” they added.
The move coincides with Heather announcing that she has teamed up with SHEIN for a homeware collection in a neutral color palette.
The inspiration for the collection could offer an idea of the themes that she and Tarek, 43, have in mind for their own home.
“I have been working on bringing luxury design to our flips and really elevating them, and I’m all about finding things that are budget-friendly so consumers can find things attainable,” Heather told PEOPLE of the SHEIN collection.
“I’m really into neutral tones right now, but then adding pops of color with, say, flowers. So adding a vase to a house and then adding real flowers, that’s my favorite thing to do every single week,” she added.

Back in 2020, Tarek sold his Costa Mesa home after he and Heather found a new place to live in Newport Beach.
“This is our in-between house until we build or find the perfect house,” Tarek told PEOPLE at the time. “But I mean, this is a super killer house. It’s nicer than the house we were living in — it’s right by the water and kind of looks like a hotel.”
The Flip or Flop star and Selling Sunset alum have been married since 2021 and welcomed their son Tristan, 2, in January 2023. Tarek is also dad to daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, from his first marriage to Christina Haack.

Heather and Tarek’s new family home comes after they revealed last year that they had begun searching for a property with a few key features.
“We’re looking to move and buy a new house,” Heather told Hello! magazine in October. “We live at the beach right now, so we’re looking to move to something with a backyard because we’re kind of tight space right now.”

“We don’t know what’s to come. 2025 is going to bring a lot of new things for us, so we’re just excited to embrace it,” she added.
