NEED TO KNOW
Harrison Ford is the Shrinking cast’s biggest cheerleader.
The Indiana Jones actor’s Shrinking costars Jessica Williams and Michael Urie each took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 15, and shared Ford’s congratulatory texts to them regarding their 2025 Emmy nominations.
Both Ford, 83, and Urie, 44, were nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for their work on the Apple TV+ show, and Williams, 35, snagged a nod in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category.
Ford had nothing but sweet things to say to his castmates after the nominations were announced.
Urie, who plays Brian, shared an Instagram post that included a screenshot of him and Ford, who plays Dr. Paul Rhoades, texting each other, captioning it, “Welp… #emmy.”
“DUUUUUDE” Urie’s message read.
“duuuuuude…./ u 2 ?!” Ford replied. “congrats Michael so well deserved !”

Both Urie and Ford are first-time Emmy nominees this year.
Williams, who plays Gaby, also shared a message she received from Ford, though we don’t see her original message to him.
“Congrats on YOUR NOMINATION….you silly Girl,” he wrote, adding “XXOO.”

Shrinking received seven Emmy nominations this year in total.
The show centers around Jason Segel’s Jimmy, a therapist who skirts the ethical line and gets overly involved in his patients’ lives as he navigates the grief of losing his wife. Ford and Williams play Jimmy’s fellow therapists, while Urie plays his lawyer best friend.
Shrinking garnered a nomination in the top category, Outstanding Comedy Series, where it’s up against Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, The Studio and What We Do in the Shadows.
Segel also earned a spot in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
