Halsey experienced a “minor medical emergency” in Boston, she revealed on Monday, Nov. 3.
On Monday, Nov. 3, Halsey, 31, who goes by she/they pronouns, shared an Instagram Stories post from Mass General Hospital regarding their health. “Boston I’m gonna be honest with ya, after the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning,” they began the story post, which featured a selfie of half of their face with their hair in a towel. “Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I’m pacing myself, that’s why!”
She continued, “Huge shout out to Mass General and Dr Kian, Dr Victoria and my nurses Carolyn and Alicia for being the absolute best team I’ve ever met. And I second that with regard to the imaging staff, transport team, and patient relations!! I am so so grateful! LETS ROCK TONIGHT!”

As of Monday evening, Halsey is scheduled to return to the stage at MGM Music Hall in Boston for their second performance in the city. She did not specify what the medical emergency was.
The minor medical emergency came a month after the “Ego” singer shared a different health update. In a TikTok clip posted on Sept. 26, she revealed she’d just undergone chemotherapy, which came after being diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022.
“Just coming on here to give you guys another speed round of updates. [I] just did another few sessions of chemo,” Hasley said at the time, adding, “[I] had a new port placed.”
“A chemo port is a small, implantable device that attaches to a vein (usually in your upper chest area). It allows healthcare providers to draw blood and give treatments — including chemotherapy drugs — without a needle stick. A port can remain in place for weeks, months or even years,” per the Cleveland Clinic,

Lupus is an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system attacks healthy tissues, rather than targeting the bad bacteria and viruses, causing inflammation that can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. There is currently no cure for the disease, per the Mayo Clinic.
According to Healthline, lymphoproliferative disorders are a group of diseases characterized by the uncontrolled production of white blood cells called lymphocytes. T-cell disorders include leukemia and lymphoma.
The Grammy nominee is currently on their Back to Badlands international tour, which honors the 10th anniversary of her hit debut album Badlands.
