Hailee Steinfeld is clearly enjoying newlywed life with husband Josh Allen.
In an interview with Bustle, the Sinners actress, 28, opened up about her connection with Buffalo Bills quarterback Allen, 29.
“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” she told the outlet. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
Asked by the reporter if she thinks about having kids, Steinfeld replied, “Yes, of course.”

Her comments come a bit more than five months after she and Allen wed in an elegant ceremony in Southern California on May 31 that was full of “love and magic,” she later wrote in her Beau Society newsletter.
“It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbra,” Steinfeld continued. “Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”
“The flow of the reception was dance, speech, cry, dance, eat, dance, speech, cry, dance, etc.,” Steinfeld added.
The Oscar nominee and Allen were first linked in the spring of 2023, but the two kept their relationship low key for many months.
The following February, a source confirmed the PEOPLE that the two were getting serious.

“They always planned to spend more time together after his season ended. Things have been going really well. They’re both very family-oriented and driven, and they want to protect their relationship and keep it private,” the source said at the time. “They’ve been on the same page with all of that.”
That July, Allen confirmed the relationship when he went Instagram official with Steinfeld, posting a carousel of photos that included images of the couple together.
They didn’t make their red carpet debut as a couple until February of this year, three months before they tied the knot.

Being with Allen has helped Steinfeld as an artist, too, she told Bustle. “That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable.”
Steinfeld earned rave reviews — as well as awards buzz — for her role as Michael B. Jordan’s jilted ex lover in Ryan Coogler’s thriller Sinners, which was released in April. Next up, she stars opposite Miles Teller in Winter Games, a romantic drama set at the Olympics.
