Guy Fieri is one of the many familiar faces to appear in the long-awaited Happy Gilmore sequel.
The celebrity chef appears alongside Adam Sandler as the host of the Maxi Golf Tournament in Happy Gilmore 2 — and he expressed gratitude for having been part of the star-studded production, which was released on Netflix July 25.
“So AWESOME to be included in HAPPY GILMORE 2,” Fieri wrote on Instagram on Monday, July 28, posting a few images from the movie.
“Big thanks to @adamsandler for havin’ me, and for lettin’ me bring my own wardrobe and tequila 😂,” the Food Network star added, referring to Santo Tequila.

The film, which sees Sandler return to the green as the titular golfer, features a wide array of cameos that include Travis Kelce, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Ken Jennings and numerous others.
This isn’t the first time Fieri and Sandler have shared screen time. The Saturday Night Live alum appeared with the cast of Grown Ups 2 on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in 2013.
Fieri’s friends and fans were quick to praise his part in the comedy, and Sandler himself liked the Instagram post.
“So fun,” wrote fellow chef Stephanie Izard.
“It was SUCH a trip seeing you in it! Great flick!” read another comment, while someone else noted, “I was shocked to see you. You nailed it.”

The Guys Grocery Games star opened up about his iconic look during a recent interview with PEOPLE about his partnership with Revlon.
Fieri even revealed how long it really takes to get his spiky, blonde hairstyle.
“Everybody asks, ‘How long does it take to do your hair?’ It takes …,” he said before rubbing his hands back and forth on his head three times. “That’s how long.”
In 2022, Fieri told PEOPLE that his bold locks and tattoos were not a TV stunt.
“People think I got tattoos and bleached my hair because I was going to be on TV,” he said. “I made those great decisions before I got here.”
