NEED TO KNOW
Gracie Hunt is ready for it.
The 26-year-old daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia, shared with PEOPLE exclusively what she’s looking forward to most about Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“I’m so excited for Taylor Swift’s new album! Her music always tells such powerful stories, and I can’t wait to see the fresh creativity and emotion she’s bringing this time,” Hunt told PEOPLE exclusively ahead of the forthcoming release on Oct. 3.
Hunt praised the 14-time Grammy winner for her musical talent and original songwriting, specifically her ability to tell stories through her lyrics that are uniquely her own.

“Her artistry and storytelling have always set a high standard in the music industry,” she adds of the record-breaking singer-songwriter, who’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. “Every release feels like a new chapter, and I’m looking forward to hearing the songs and stories only she can share.”
Swift announced The Life of a Showgirl when she made her highly anticipated appearance on an episode of Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, released Aug. 13. Following the news, Hunt shared her initial excitement on her Instagram Stories.
“Straight fire,” wrote Hunt, punctuating her shoutout with a fire emoji atop of reposted picture from Swift’s conceptual photoshoot for the album, featuring the “Down Bad” singer channeling her showgirl era in a feathery, rhinestone-studded frock complete with a matching headpiece.

Hunt has already shown that she’s a fan of Swift and her impact on the Chiefs since she started dating NFL star Kelce in 2023. In January, Hunt spoke to PEOPLE about how happy she was to welcome the “absolutely incredible” pop star into their NFL community.
“It’s been such a special time to have her be a part of Chiefs Kingdom. She is just as beautiful and wonderful as you’d ever imagine her to be, so smart and intelligent,” she said at the time.
“Sometimes it feels a little bit surreal because you and I grew up watching her and falling in love with her music, and so did so much of the world,” she added.
Most recently, Hunt caught up with PEOPLE to share an exclusive look inside her NFL off-season, opening up about everything from her global getaways to finding love.
“Every off-season, my goal is really to focus on growing my faith, which is a grounding and inspiring part of my life. It’s to make sure that I spend quality time with my family and friends and really cherish those meaningful connections,” she told PEOPLE exclusively.

“Beyond that, it’s exploring business opportunities that give me a fresh perspective and can really help me prepare for the future,” she shared. “The last objective of the off-season is to spend time in nature, to reset and recharge. That way, I’m ready to give my best in the upcoming season.”
Hunt confirmed that “the vibes are immaculate” for her and her family ahead of the 2025-26 NFL season kicking off on Sept. 4. The Chiefs’ first game is on Sept. 5, when they take the field against the Los Angeles Chargers at Corinthians Arena for their first game of the regular season.
“Overall, we all just can’t wait to experience another thrilling season with the Chiefs and their incredible fans,” she added.
