Frances Bean Cobain is marking two years of marriage with her husband, Riley Hawk.
On Tuesday, Oct. 7, Frances, 33, the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, celebrated the milestone by sharing a photo on her Instagram Stories, presumably from her wedding to Riley, 32, the son of retired pro skater Tony Hawk.
The romantic snap shows Frances looking into Riley’s eyes as they stand underneath a decorative white floral arch. Frances can be seen wearing a white wedding dress with a small train, while Riley wears a black tuxedo.

“Celebrating our second wedding anniversary today! @rileyhawk 🥲,” wrote Frances over the photo. “We both forgot because we don’t sleep anymore 😂 but I wouldn’t want to walk sleeplessly through life with anyone else. I love him deep in my bones ❤️.”
Riley marked the occasion by sharing a selfie with Frances. In the picture, Riley is standing behind Frances as he kisses the top of her head while she takes the photograph.
He wrote over the photo, “2 years married to my best friend! ❤️♾️ ❤️.”
Frances and Riley got married in October 2023, via a ceremony officiated by R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, who is Frances’ godfather. The two first went public with their romance in February 2022.
In September 2024, the couple welcomed their first child together, a boy named Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk.

While speaking with PEOPLE in July, Riley said that his little boy is “learning every day” as he and Frances have fun, “growing as a family.”
“My dad helps a lot and it’s really cool that we get to all hang out together,” said Riley. “It’s just a cool thing for him to get to hang out with his grandson a lot. That’s kind of where we’re at, just taking it day by day.”
Riley said that it is “really cool” to understand his famous dad’s decisions from a different perspective now that he is a father and hopes to instill the same ” freedom” in his son.
