NEED TO KNOW
One thing’s for sure, come Nov. 21, we will be changed for good!
Wicked: For Good is still more than a month away, but Universal Pictures is giving fans a sneak peek into the two original songs from the highly anticipated part two of the musical movie.
Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba is set to sing the new song “No Place Like Home,” a clear homage to Dorothy’s catchphrase from The Wizard of Oz, while Ariana Grande’s Glinda will perform the new original track, “The Girl in the Bubble.”

The two-part film is adapted from the hit Broadway musical Wicked, but these two original songs mark the first musical divergence the films have made from the original material, written and composed by Stephen Schwartz.
In an exclusive clip shared on the Today show on Wednesday, Oct. 8, fans got the chance to hear the titular lyrics from the two songs sung by the film’s leads in a mashup of songs from the second part of the musical.

Both songs appear to be passionate ballads by the two impressive vocalists, with Erivo lending her melodic riff to Dorothy’s iconic line.
In the new teaser, Jonathan Bailey’s Fiyero can be heard singing the passionate love song, “As Long as You’re Mine,” Glinda sings a line from “Thank Goodness,” and Elphaba sings a lyric from the powerful, “No Good Deed,” before both of the female leads harmonize on the title track, “For Good.”
The clip was released to celebrate tickets for the film going on sale on Oct. 8. Wicked: Part 1 was released in late 2024 and covered the events of the Broadway musical’s first act, ending on the show-stopper track, “Defying Gravity.”
The cast including Erivo, Grande, Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang and more will return for the second installment.
Wicked: For Good hits theaters Nov. 21.
