Chris Pratt and Anna Faris had a rare public reunion on Thanksgiving.
In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the two actors — who split in 2017 after eight years of marriage — could be seen sharing a hug after Faris, 48, reportedly dropped off their son Jack, 13, to volunteer with his dad at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif.
The outlet reported that Pratt’s wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, 35 — with whom he shares daughters Lyla, 5, and Eloise, 3, plus son Ford, 1 — was also on hand at the charity event.
Later in the day, Pratt, 46, shared several family photos on his Instagram, writing in the caption, “Thankful.”
Pratt and Faris previously reunited publicly for Jack’s sixth grade graduation ceremony in June.
In 2022, Faris opened up to PEOPLE about growing closer to Pratt and Schwarzenegger Pratt. “They’re very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them,” the Scary Movie star said. “I so appreciate their support.”

Faris, who eloped with cinematographer Michael Bennett, 55, in 2021, had particularly high praise for Schwarzenegger Pratt, calling her “awesome.”
“She’s just on top of it,” she said. “I love how she is with Jack.”
In October, Schwarzenegger Pratt spoke with PEOPLE about parenthood, saying that she and Pratt are loving “this season of life and parenting” with their kids.
“We do a really good job communicating,” she said. “It’s something that was really important to both of us from the beginning and continues to be really important to us as life gets busier and crazier, especially as you add more children into the mix.”
Schwarzenegger Pratt added that she and her husband — who got married in 2019 — “balance each other out really well” as parents.
“He has a lot of strengths that I don’t have, and I have certain strengths that maybe he doesn’t have,” she said. “We are a great team. I think it’s always keeping in mind that we’re a team and that we’re doing our best to tackle all the different things. We’re also very present in this beautiful season of life of having young children and getting to spend a lot of time with them. It’s such a sweet time.”
About being a stepmom, she said she continues “to learn so much” in the role. “Just like parenting, you learn something new every single day,” she said.
