Doechii is getting ready to bring the swamp to Chicago, but according to the rapper, she’s also planning on bringing up a special guest.
In a post on X on Thursday (July 31), the Swamp Princess teased that she will be sharing the stage with a famous face this weekend. Doechii is slated to play the Illinois festival on Saturday (Aug. 2), taking the T-Mobile stage at 6:55 p.m. ahead of headliners Rufus du Sol.
“Im thinking about bringing a guest to DOECHII-PALOOZA …,” the Florida native wrote. “who should it be.”
Fans will probably have to wait until showtime to find out who’s joining Doechii on stage, but dozens of musicians are set to converge on the Windy City for the weekend, meaning it could be any one of them. For what it’s worth, the Grammy winner has previously collaborated with Tyler, the Creator — who will play a headlining set on Thursday (July 31), two days before Doechii’s Saturday performance (Aug. 2) — on Chromakopia track “Balloon.”
Doechii is currently still riding the high of a career-making year, with the star launching to global fame with the runaway success of mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal. The LP won best rap album at the 2025 Grammys, a couple of months after which she scored her first-ever top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Anxiety,” which reached No. 9 on the chart.
The musician was also honored as Billboard‘s Woman of the Year at the Women in Music Awards earlier this year. “I cannot believe it was just two years ago I stood on this stage right here and accepted the Billboard Rising Star Award,” she said while accepting the prize in March. “I had literally performed so hard I danced my shoes off and had to hop up to the mic. And here I am. That moment reflects how I approach my career – always go full out, always go hard and always be fab.”
Lollapalooza will take place across four days in Chicago’s Grant Park from Thursday (July 31) to Sunday (Aug. 3). In addition to Tyler and Rufus, the headliners will include Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter.
