The cast of Dawson’s Creek is reuniting in New York City on Sept. 22
PEOPLE can reveal that additional tickets — for only $25 — are now available through a lottery system
The event — which includes Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williams and many more original cast members — benefits F Cancer and Van Der Beek, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer
So open up your morning light… because you have another chance to see the cast of Dawson’s Creek reunite in New York City.
As was previously announced, James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Mary Beth Peil, John Wesley Shipp, Mary-Margaret Humes, Nina Repeta, Kerr Smith, Meredith Monroe, and Busy Philipps are coming together for the first time since the series wrapped 22 years ago for a one-night-only charity event on Sept. 22, in partnership with F Cancer.
And while tickets went quickly when they went on sale a few weeks ago, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the event has launched a lottery system for $25 tickets.
The lottery opened on Broadway Direct at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and will close at 3 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 15. Once the lottery closes, winners will be notified within minutes and will have 60 minutes to claim and pay for tickets.

The event at the Richard Rodgers Theatre will include a live reading of the show’s pilot episode to benefit F Cancer and Van Der Beek, who was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer last year. Philipps, Smith and Monroe, who joined the hit WB show in season 2, will read various other roles from the pilot.
Dawson’s alum Jason Moore is directing the event, which is produced by Carl Ogawa, Moore, Williams, Thomas Kail, Maggie Brohn, Kevin Williamson and Greg Berlanti. The show aired for six seasons from 1998 to 2003.
“We grew up in Capeside and that’s a bond that will last a lifetime,” Williams said in a statement upon the event’s announcement. “We wanted to gather around our dear friend James and remind him that we are all here. We always have been and we always will be. And I know the fans of Dawson’s Creek feel the same way.”
“This has been months and months in the making and it’s finally all happening!!! Join us in New York City on September 22 for a memorable evening to celebrate our dear friend, James Van Der Beek,” Philipps wrote on Instagram.

Mini-reunions have been popping up around New York City all summer long, with Holmes and Jackson filming their Happy Hours movies together and Williams and Philipps attending the special Hamilton screening at the Delacorte Theater together on Sept. 3.
