In addition to two decade-defining movies, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have given us press tour looks for the books.
Over the last two years, the Oscar-nominated actresses have traveled the world promoting their blockbuster movie musical Wicked and its sequel Wicked: For Good. On top of the many quotes and memes they gave the culture, we’re also holding space for the show-stopping gowns they wore to events such as world premieres and a one-night-only Wicked concert.
Grande, styled by Mimi Cuttrell (for Wicked) and Law Roach (for For Good), looked ethereal in her frequently pink Good Witch-inspired dresses, while Erivo, styled by Jason Borden, always brought the drama with bold, dark numbers befitting a very fashionable Wicked Witch of the West.
As Wicked: For Good officially kicks off its theatrical run on Nov. 21, 2025, see which 10 outfits topped our list of Grande and Erivo’s most major red carpet moments.

Gingham looks good on Grande. She accessorized her custom pastel gown with a matching bow, shawl and pair of gloves, as well as a set of sparkling slippers.

In one of her most daring looks, the Tony winner brought haute couture to Oz in a voluminous skirt lined with rose-gold rhinestones that she coordinated with tights. She also wore a custom hat that she lost that night — but was returned to her a year later by a fan who found it in the theater!

The Grammy winner shined in an iridescent Atelier Versace dress that could have been made out of Glinda’s bubble. In the light, the gown seemed to change colors, aptly going between blue, pink and white.

Nominated for Best Supporting Actress, Grande wore haute couture fresh off the runway, a structured bustier dress with a glittering tulle skirt.
Grande and Erivo also had another chance to show off two more showstopping gowns during their Wizard of Oz-inspired duet.

A majestic Erivo walked the yellow brick carpet in a custom navy and black gown with tasteful touches of leather. Had she left Elphaba green behind her totally?
“I haven’t retired it completely, I just haven’t worn it as much this time around, because I don’t know, we wanted an evolution for her [Elphaba],” Erivo said on Today of her moodier palette this time around. “This isn’t the last time you’ll see green on me. It’s actually one of my favorite colors, but it wasn’t right for this time around.”
