NEED TO KNOW
Christine Brown is weighing in on the possibility of her ex Kody Brown pursuing a fifth wife.
In the Sister Wives season 20 trailer, which was released last month, Kody informed his remaining wife Robyn Brown that another woman expressed interest in joining the famous polygamous family.
“I got another one of those emails from some woman asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family,” Kody told Robyn, which didn’t appear to please her.
When asked if she thought there was “a chance” the pair would bring in a new sister wife on the latest episode of The Sarah Fraser Show, Christine didn’t hold back about her feelings on the topic.
“I do not even know how to wrap my mind around what I have seen that they are even entertaining.” Christine, who released her memoir Sister Wife on Sept. 2, said of the trailer on the podcast.
She went on to question the pair’s true intentions for considering an addition to the family, explaining, “Are they? Is it just for camera? I do not know. I just don’t know. But, I hope not, because what they have is a soulmate situation. They really do.”

She added that she felt “so disingenuous” and “so unfair” for the couple to bring in another wife.
“Kody himself, he talked about how much he loved monogamy,” she noted. “So why do that? Why ruin something so good?”
When host Sarah Fraser told Christine that it was “too bad” that Kody wasn’t open about his feelings 15 years ago, she agreed.
“I kind of think that sometimes,” admitted Christine, who announced her split from Kody in November 2021. “I’m like, what if he was like to have a conversation with all of us and be like, you know what, Robyn’s my soulmate. She really is. I don’t know what to do. I just don’t know what you guys want me to do. I have no idea. What would be a good situation? What would be good? Let’s be transparent about this.”
“But I think they ended up just hiding…tried to hide how they really felt about each other,” she continued. “Tried to make it all work.”
In retrospect, the mother of six wonders if an honest conversation between her, Kody and his other former wives — Meri and Janelle Brown — “would have been lovely.”

Christine became the first of Kody’s four wives to leave him in November 2021, triggering a domino effect that resulted in the end of his relationships with Janelle and Meri within 14 months.
She went public with her romance with David Woolley in February 2023, and got engaged two months later before tying the knot that October.
In July, she reflected on her experience finding her true match later in life in an Instagram post on July 18.
“I didn’t get the chance to post all our pictures from our last trip and it reminded me that although the views were incredibly beautiful, the part that meant the most was how peaceful it felt,” she wrote alongside a slideshow of her and Woolley’s travels in Germany. “How light it was. How easy it was to just be myself.”
“Love isn’t supposed to be confusing. It’s not supposed to feel heavy or leave you guessing. It’s not supposed to hurt,” she added.
