NEED TO KNOW
Chrissy Teigen’s kids are her mini cheerleaders!
On Thursday, Jan. 22, the 40-year-old shared a cute Instagram clip of her youngest children — daughter Esti, 3, and son Wren, 2 — tuning in to watch her on Netflix’s revival of Star Search.
The classic talent show, which premiered on Jan. 20 and airs for five weeks, sees Teigen on the judging panel alongside fellow celebrity judges Jelly Roll and Sarah Michelle Gellar, while black-ish star Anthony Anderson takes on hosting duties.
In her video of her kids watching the show, Esti and Wren could be seen sitting on a sofa together as the show played.
“Is it scary?” Wren asked.
“No it’s not scary,” Teigen replied. “Look at it, it’s mommy,” she continued as she turned her phone to show the TV and her walking out onto a stage with Jelly, 41, and Gellar, 48.
Switching her phone back to her children, Esti and Wren first looked unimpressed — and slightly confused — at the show.
“That’s mommy you guys,” Teigen added.
“Why? Who?” Wren asked as he looked around, appearing confused that his mom was on the screen and also in the room with him. The little one then appeared to say, “Why is she there?” before adding, “We’re watching the show!”
“Yeah!” Teigen squealed in delight.
Then, clocking that the person on the screen was her mom, Esti excitedly shouted, “That’s momma! That’s mommy!” as Teigen also shared her excitement at their reaction.
“The reviews are in! @starsearchnetflix is 1, not scary and 2, that’s mommy (delayed),” Teigen captioned the video,
The model and cookbook author shares Esti and Wren, as well as older kids Luna, 9, and Miles, 7, with her husband, musician John Legend.

Teigen was announced as a judge on Star Search earlier this month. The finale will air on Feb. 17.
“Each episode will spotlight the best up-and-coming performers across numerous categories — music, dance, variety, comedy, magic and juniors — as they compete head to head for their shot at stardom,” an official series description from Netflix read before the show premiered.
