Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, is sharing how her daughter has been processing her dad’s death.
Erika, 37, appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News talk show Hannity and was asked whether believing in heaven has brought her family any comfort in the months since her husband, right-wing personality Charlie, was assassinated.
“It does,” she said. “My daughter and I, we’ve talked about this at night. She would ask, ‘What do you think Daddy did today in heaven?’ And I’ll have her relay that back to me.”

She then went on to say how she’s explained Charlie’s death to her 3-year-old daughter. Erika and her late husband also share a 1-year-old son.
“We’ve come to the understanding, and I’ve tried to explain this to her, that Daddy’s still with us, he’s just in a different location, and he’s building us a home in heaven,” Erika explained. “And I’ve said this before, but she said, ‘I can’t wait to go.’ I said, ‘Me too, baby.'”
Charlie died on Sept. 10 after being shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University.
The right-wing commentator, who founded conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, was manning his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table on the first stop of his American Comeback Tour at the university when the incident took place.

Although authorities didn’t initially take a suspect into custody, on Sept. 11, they apprehended 22-year-old Tyler Robinson after an extensive manhunt.
Robinson is now facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder. In September, Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray announced that prosecutors would seek the death penalty during a press conference. He has not entered a plea yet and the next court appearance will be in January.
In September, Erika was granted a protective order, which barred Robinson from attempting to contact her.
Back in November, Erika shared during a conversation with Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Channel that she was “praying” she was pregnant with her third baby after her husband was killed.
“We wanted to have four,” she told Kelly. “And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered. I was like, ‘Oh goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.'”
