Carlin Bates is revealing the sex of her little one.
Shortly after welcoming her third baby with husband Evan Stewart, the Bringing Up Bates star, 27, is sharing the sex of their baby. In a sweet clip on Instagram, the proud mom gave her last push as her husband announced the sex of their baby.
“It’s a girl!” the proud dad said, prompting emotional reactions from the newly minted parents of three.
After hearing the news, Bates told Stewart that she thought they were going to have a boy, while her husband beamed with pride at the strength of his wife for undergoing a natural birth. “You went natural. You’re like superwoman,” he said, kissing her on her hand.
The doting mom held her baby close to her chest as she cried and rubbed the back of her head.
“We have a baby girl. I love her. I was so so very wrong,” she said, looking down at her baby girl through tears. “I love you.”
In the caption for the post, Bates echoed her sentiments, saying, “You don’t even know how much you were already loved, sweet baby girl! 😭🎀.”
Following the sex reveal, Bates shared a video capturing the moment that Stewart held his baby for the first time. The proud mom, who quickly became emotional watching the interaction, captioned the post, “I think she has him wrapped around her finger already 🥹💓.”
The couple welcomed their third baby on Wednesday, Sept. 10, announcing the exciting news with a joint post on Instagram. The 11-picture carousel featured various pictures of the new parents with their newborn during the baby’s first few moments.

The happy news comes while her sister Erin Bates, who recently welcomed her seventh baby with husband Chad Paine, remains in the hospital after having a “severe seizure,” days after developing a UTI and kidney infection and going into septic shock.
The dad of seven revealed on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 9, that the Bringing Up Bates star, 34, would be continuing her recovery at a new hospital after suffering complications following the birth of their seventh child.
“Yesterday, Erin was transferred to a new hospital where a team of doctors is working together to help her improve. The nurses have been so compassionate and have become like family to us,” Paine wrote, alongside a video of himself stroking his wife’s face and holding her hand as she cried in her hospital bed.
“Recovery is not fast or easy, but we are deeply thankful for every small step forward,” he added in the post.
