Cardi B continued to embrace bird motifs ahead of the release of her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?
The rapper hosted the WWE 2025 SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 2 in East Rutherford, N.J., and wore a dramatic feathered ensemble for the occasion.
Cardi’s look consisted of a fitted, waist-cinching corset bodysuit in black decorated with glossy black feathers. She paired the sexy corset with a matching cape entirely made of the black feathers and wore it draped over her shoulders.

As the rapper made her grand entrance into MetLife, the cape trailed behind her and even required an assistant backstage to make sure that it laid on the runway properly to prevent it from folding over itself.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s edgy ensemble is far from her first time she has dipped her toes into gothic glamour. Last month, the rapper attended Paris Haute Couture Week and made an appearance at Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2025/2026 on July 9.

For the occasion, the 32-year-old wore a floor-grazing sheer black lace dress with pointed black leather heels and sheer black tights. Cardi dialed up the goth glam with thin angled eyebrows and a vampy red lip and wore her inky black hair in voluminous curls.
Two days prior, the rapper attended the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/2026 fashion show at Petit Palais in Paris on July 7 and carried an unexpected plus-one with her for the event: a literal raven.
For the Schiaparelli show, Cardi wore a fitted black column gown with an exaggerated shoulder piece that featured a levitating ivory fringe detail that hovered by her head. The beaded fringe extended down to the “Bongos” rapper’s knees, almost hiding the black opera gloves she used to complete her outfit.

In addition to accessorizing with two-tier pearl teardrop earrings and a diamond-encrusted microdermal stud under her left eye, she carried a raven on her right arm as she posed for pictures. She later revealed that she wasn’t scared to make her entrance with the bird.
“No, I’m not scared of the bird. That’s my friend,” she told WWD. “I control him. We’re best friends.”
Cardi’s new feathered ensemble serves as a callback to the album cover of her second album, Am I the Drama?
For the album’s cover, she wore a red Han Kjøbenhavn bodysuit, matching red fishnet tights, bold Vivienne Westwood heels and accessories by Swarovski. A fleet of black birds are spotted flying in a cloudy blue sky, while Cardi posed for the cover in the foreground.
