NEED TO KNOW
Bobby Flay’s latest podcast guest gave his girlfriend Brooke Williamson a laugh.
When chef Esther Choi joined the Monday, Jan. 5, episode of Bobby on the Beat, she and Flay reminisced about her appearance on the second season of Bobby’s Triple Threat in 2023.
After Choi said she remembers “every detail” of the episode, Flay asked, “How did you do against Brooke?”
Williamson has served as one of the show’s three titans since it premiered on Food Network in 2022.
“I mean, thank God, that’s how I won,” Choi admitted.

She quickly added, “Sorry, Brooke, I love you so much. If your rice cooker worked, I would have lost that day. I got lucky.”
Williamson then acknowledged that the Sunkissed Cooking author was nearby off-camera, watching the interview.
“Isn’t it nice that during the podcast, there’s also a titan in the room?” he asked, as the camera cut to Williamson laughing at Choi’s comments.
“I know, honestly,” Choi replied. “And I’m sorry, I’m sorry, but like, I’m not sorry also, because it’s like, because of that one piece of luck, I won that episode.”

This isn’t Williamson’s first appearance on Flay’s podcast.
On the second episode of Bobby on the Beat, which the Food Network star launched in November, the couple recalled meeting on the set of chef Alex Guarnaschelli’s show Supermarket Stakeout.
A year later, Flay, 61, reached out to Williamson, 47, after she wrote an opinion piece for the Los Angeles Times on the restaurant industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I remember I was standing on the patio of my restaurant, and you FaceTimed me out of nowhere. I hadn’t spoken to you in like a year,” Williamson recalled. “And that’s how you called to tell me that you really respected what I wrote and you read my article and you thought I did a great job at representing the industry with my voice.”
The couple, who took their romance public in March 2025, have shared highlights from their time together with fans — but there’s no wedding in the works.
“We both don’t want to get married again,” Flay said during a visit to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show while addressing a diamond ring he gave Williamson in October. “It’s okay. So, like, it’s great having a life partner. And so I wanted to give her something significant to make her feel committed. That’s all.”
