NEED TO KNOW
Bronwyn Newport keeps her husband, Todd Bradley, clued in to what’s circulating about him on the internet — whether he likes it or not!
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, 40, chatted with PEOPLE at Julio Torres’ “The Cursed Amulet” Halloween party on Oct. 30, where she reflected on a couple’s costume she and Bradley did a few years ago up that ended up being a subtle foreshadow of the future.
“Todd was Mr. Fredricksen, from Up, and I was Kevin, the bird,” she revealed. “Then somebody made a really funny meme about Todd as Carl Fredricksen.”

When asked whether her hubby has seen the meme, Newport said that she made sure of it.
“Todd doesn’t have social media, so I have to — this is such a summation of Todd and I’s relationship — I have to screen record when I want to show Todd something on Instagram, and then text it to him,” she explained. “I think you lose a little bit of the funniness of the meme when I have to do that, but he is aware that he is often a meme.”
As for his reaction to the viral comparison, Newport admitted, “I think he is low-key flattered and also offended at the same time.”
Bradley has been a topic of discussion for more than his resemblance to the iconic Disney character since Newport joined RHOSLC for its fifth season in 2024. At one point, Heather Gay even called Bradley “an asshole” and slammed Newport for allegedly not signing a prenup.
In another episode, Newport revealed that her daughter, Gwen, once discovered Bradley having an emotional affair, which led her co-stars to further question the marriage.
“What’s good for him in business is that he’s never satisfied,” she explained to the women. “He’s always pushing for the next deal, the best deal, the whatever. And it is hard to turn that off. When you come home, you are always looking.”

Newport added that when she confronted Bradley, she realized this is a “fatal flaw” of his. “It’s not his fault,” she said at the time. “You’re used to what you’re used to you, you like what you like.”
She later said that going into season 6, she and Bradley, who she met while living in San Francisco in 2014, were in a better place in their relationship. “I also think in his own way, when the ladies and I notice something that was off, Todd was willing to fix it,” she told the New York Post in February.
Newport added, “And sometimes they said stuff and I was like, no I don’t agree with that and it made me remember all the things I love about him. When you defend someone, you remember all the good things about them.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
