NEED TO KNOW
Brad Paisley sure knows how to keep things interesting!
During a recent show in Bridgeport, Conn., on July 18, Paisley, 52, brought police officers on stage for a memorable skit.
In a video shared on TikTok by a concert attendee, Paisley looked around nervously at police officers surrounding him on stage. He then handed each of them a guitar pick and said “this is not a bribe.”
Then, Paisley broke into his hit song “Mr. Policeman” as the crowd cheered.
The TikTok user captioned the video, “He was let off with a warning after he reportedly bribed the officers with free guitar picks.”
The following day, the police department raved about the moment on Instagram and called it “one for the books.”
“A huge thank you to the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater and country music legend @bradpaisley for taking the time to recognize the hard work of our Bridgeport Police officers,” the department wrote on July 19. “Being invited on stage was something our officers will never forget, and it meant a lot to everyone in the department.”
Adding, “To Brad Paisley and his crew, thank you for standing with law enforcement and showing that support in such a meaningful way. From a recruitment standpoint, just imagine showing up to work and hanging out with Brad Paisley for the night. That is a memory that will last a lifetime.”
The post concluded, “To all the officers who worked the detail last night, thank you for representing the department with pride and professionalism.”

Paisley is currently on the road for his Truck Still Works tour, which is named after his September 2024 single “Truck Still Works.”
The tour kicked off on May 21 at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and will stop in major cities more before wrapping on Aug. 18 in Arcadia, Wisc. at the Ashley for the Arts festival.
Meanwhile, in April, Paisley made an appearance on Farmer Wants a Wife and met with the four single farmers to discuss how things were going and offered up some advice in the relationship department.
During his visit, “Remind Me” singer also reflected on his journey with wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and said he knew the actress “was the one” after he saw her in her breakout film, Father of the Bride in 1991.
