Bow Wow’s daughter Shai Moss and Monica’s daughter Laiyah Brown are a dancing duo!
Bow Wow, born Shad Moss, is the father of 14-year-old Shai, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend, dancer Joie Chavis. He also shares son, Stone Gemariah Moss, 5, with ex-girlfriend, model Olivia Sky. Monica shares Laiyah, 11, with ex-husband Shannon Brown. She is also mom to sons Romelo, 17, and Rodney, 20, with ex-boyfriend Rodney “Rocko” Hill.
On Wednesday, July 30, Laiyah and Shai posted separate TikToks alongside each other, as the pair participated in the latest TikTok dancing trend. The two danced to Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller’s “It Depends” — alongside Chris’s tour dancers.
Laiyah captioned the video: “Ayyy🔥💃🏾#dance #chrisbrowndancers.”

Several TikTok users commented on the duo’s dance skills, with one user writing, “Laiyah and Shai….YOU BOTH DID GREAT!!!”
“Chris finna add yall to the dance crew. 🔥,” another added. “Bow Wow & Monica’s babies are really cutting it up 🔥🔥🔥,” wrote one user.
Some users also couldn’t believe the similarities the two girls have with their mothers. “Shai dances just like my girl Joie Ommgg this is so surreal to see 🔥🔥🔥,” one user commented, and another wrote: “Lil Joie & Lil Monica 🥰💖💐🩰✨.”
The pair also added the video in a collaborative Instagram post. Shai’s mother commented on the post: “Without meeeeee 😫 but yall ate!!!!😍.”

The recent videos at Chris Brown’s concert follow the pair’s outing to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, which they also documented for TikTok in early July.
Shai posted two TikToks of their night at the concert, including a peek at their outfits, revealing Shai’s Canadian tuxedo and Laiyah’s cow-print set. Shai also shared another video of them dancing to a trending Beyoncé remix — which Laiyah also posted to her profile.
Shai later added photos and videos of their night at the Cowboy Carter Tour to her Instagram profile and included a video of the girls dancing together while watching the show.

Monica previously told PEOPLE that the two girls are close friends, despite Laiyah living in Atlanta with her mom and Shai living in Los Angeles.
Shai attended Laiyah’s 11th birthday in September 2024, and Monica told PEOPLE: “She got to see Shai, who is one of her closest friends.” Adding, “It meant a lot for Bow to make sure [Shai] was there.”
