NEED TO KNOW
Baked by Melissa is bringing a little Parisian — and Italian — flair to its signature mini cupcakes.
Just in time for the premiere of Season 5 of Emily in Paris, the bakery chain known for its bite-sized cupcakes is dropping a limited-edition collection inspired by the show’s signature glamour and je ne sais quoi. The collaboration launches Wednesday, Nov. 19, offering fans a playful way to celebrate the stylish adventures of Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, as she enjoys her new location in the show’s latest picturesque destination spot.
To celebrate, Baked by Melissa is reviving its beloved “Cupcarons” — a hybrid dessert inspired by cupcakes and macarons — for the first time in more than a decade. The collection combines nostalgic fan favorites with fresh, whimsical flavors designed to capture the elegance and fun of the beloved series. The limited-edition drop features three Cupcarons and one all-new creation: Chocolate Rose.

Each of the desserts, available in 12- and 25-piece assortments ($19 and $37, respectively), offers a unique flavor with surprise middles. Starting with the Strawberry Crepe Cupcaron, a strawberry cupcake stuffed with Nutella and topped with a white macaron shell and dark chocolate drizzle. Then there’s the Rainbow Cookie Cupcaron, inspired by Italy’s classic almond cookie, layered with almond cake, strawberry jam, chocolate icing and rainbow nonpareils (circular sprinkles for the Americans).
The Salted Caramel Cupcaron blends vanilla cake, coffee filling, coffee icing and a salted caramel macaron shell for a more sultry taste. And the newest Baked by Melissa creation, Chocolate Rose, rounds out the collection, featuring rich chocolate cake and hot pink vanilla icing: perfect for a holiday gathering, watch party or an indulgent solo treat.

“The Emily in Paris Season 5 premiere provided us with a fun opportunity to reimagine our signature cupcakes through a Parisian lens – what better way to do so than by bringing back our Cupcarons for the first time in 10 years?” Melissa Ben-Ishay, CEO and co-founder of Baked by Melissa, told PEOPLE exclusively. “The texture is incredible, each one is bursting with flavor, and they’re made for sharing – whether you’re hosting a watch party or just channeling your inner Emily for the night.”
Season 5 of Emily in Paris gives Emily new professional and romantic backdrops as she steps into her role as head of Agence Grateau’s Rome office. Creator Darren Star told Tudum back in August that the season is “a tale of two cities — Rome and Paris,” and promises fresh adventures, unexpected twists and new relationships for the fashion-forward protagonist.
Lily Collins shared her excitement for Emily’s romance with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), calling him “a whole other adventure” for her character and a way to explore a more balanced, joyful side of Emily beyond her vacation-ready persona.

The cupcake collection perfectly mirrors this blend of nostalgia and novelty, giving fans a way to celebrate Emily’s journey while enjoying a sweet, bite-sized taste of Paris — and Rome — from home. Orders will be available both online and in Baked by Melissa stores while supplies last, making it a limited treat that’s as fashionable as it is delicious.
Season 5 of Emily in Paris premieres on Netflix on Dec. 18.
