Ashley St. Clair is opening up further about her ongoing custody battle with Elon Musk.
The influencer and author, 26, shared the first episode of her podcast Bad Advice on Musk’s X on Monday, Aug. 18.
“Well, after a year of unplanned career suicide, many questionable life choices and a gap in my LinkedIn profile that cannot be legally explained, I’ve decided to start a podcast,” St. Clair said at the top of the podcast.
St. Clair then claimed that she decided to start the podcast because she is “getting evicted.” She elaborated, “Polymarket offered me $10,000 to do an ad read. So with that, the roof over my head has been brought to you by Polymarket.”
“Not because anybody asked, but because statistically speaking, it was either join this or join a (multi-level marketing scheme),” she said, alluding to a financial predicament amid her ongoing parental drama with Musk.
She went on to criticize other media personalities, saying that her podcast would be “unlike your Ben Shapiros or Megyn Kellys.”
“I’m not starting this because I think my big-brain thoughts and my podcast mic are the greatest gift to humanity,” she said. “I actually think I have the worst ideas, so consider everything out of my mouth a cautionary tale.”
Musk has yet to comment on her new media venture or eviction allegations. PEOPLE has reached out to attorneys for both St. Clair and Musk for comment.
Musk and St. Clair first connected on X, and began their relationship while working together in San Francisco shortly after, she told the New York Post in February 2025. On Feb. 14, St. Clair announced on X that she and Musk share a son who goes by R.S.C., though it wasn’t until April that his first name was confirmed to be Romulus.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” the announcement read. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”
She added, “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment.”
St. Clair is now suing for sole custody of their son. In March, Musk, 53, denied St. Clair’s claims that he “financially retaliated” against their child. Adding, “despite not knowing for sure” if the child is his, he said he’s given her child support and “given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

St. Clair responded to Musk’s tweet, saying he “refused” to get a paternity test. “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born.”
“And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for disobedience,’ ” she continued. “But you’re really only punishing your son.”
Musk is also the father of 13 other children, whom he shares with three other women.
