NEED TO KNOW
Ariana Madix has a message for Love Island USA fans.
During the June 21 Aftersun episode, the host, 39, acknowledged the massive support the show has received nearly a month after season 7 first premiered. However, she also called out the hate some cast members have been receiving and asked the “amazing” viewers to be mindful when sharing their opinions.
“Love Island has the best fans across the entire globe,” Madix said. “Passionate — and I love that. There’s such a great, amazing communal experience when it comes to watching the show, but I do want to say something to some of those people who are online. Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxing people. Don’t be going on islanders’ pages and saying rude things.”

Madix reminded people that the cast has not seen the negativity yet because they don’t have access to social media.
“You still have time to delete all of that, because the islanders don’t have their phones,” she went on to note. “So we’re giving you a chance. Because this is a fun, amazing, beautiful show, and we should be thanking each one of these islanders every single day for giving us themselves. Be nice. Please be nice, or I’ll come find you.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum then poked fun at the messy parts of her life that have been aired for the whole world to see, calling it “hard” to do.
“I’ve made plenty of horrible mistakes on TV,” she laughed.
Madix’s remarks come less than a week after contestant Huda Mustafa’s ex spoke out against the public outrage.
Noah Sheline, with whom Huda shares a 4-year-old daughter, made a public statement addressing backlash toward her and her family after he began receiving hateful messages.
“At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” he wrote in a lengthy post on his TikTok Story. “Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.”

Huda has faced criticism after she coupled up with Jeremiah Brown on day one in the villa and appeared closed off to pursuing other connections. On June 15, America voted to recouple Jeremiah with bombshell Iris Kendall, leaving Huda shocked and confused about what people thought of her.
“It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but I will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughter’s maybe in the future,” Sheline’s statement read in part. “So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Out of respect for our daughter.”
He later pointed out that Love Island is “a TV show” and reminded fans that Huda is human.
“Y’all are watching people date I don’t think it’s that serious to put someone down a hole of bullying,” he concluded. “Regardless of how ridiculous she might be or seem.”
