Ariana Grande is a Golden Globe Awards nominee once more!
On Monday, Dec. 8, Grande, 32, received her second consecutive nomination for the Golden Globes’ award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for her role as Glinda in Wicked: For Good.
Grande’s costar Cynthia Erivo also received a Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy nomination for her performance in the Wicked sequel.
“thank you so much @goldenglobes for this tremendous honor and for recognizing this performance a second time,” Grande wrote in her Instagram Stories shortly after the nominations were announced. “I’m so moved and grateful, there are truly no words. Thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Grande, who achieved the rare feat of being nominated for the same role back-to-back, is nominated in her category this year alongside Emily Blunt (The Smashing Machine), Elle Fanning (Sentimental Value), Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (Sentimental Value), Amy Madigan (Weapons) and Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another).

Wicked: For Good received five total nominations at this year’s Globes. One Battle After Another led among movies with nine nominations total, followed by Sentimental Value with eight and Sinners with seven. Erivo is nominated in her category alongside Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another), Amanda Seyfried (The Testament of Ann Lee) and Emma Stone (Bugonia).
Grande told The Hollywood Reporter immediately following her nomination on Dec. 8 that she finds the nod “definitely just as exciting [as last year’s] and kind of blindsiding.” “You don’t expect something like this, let alone [for it] to happen twice for the same role. So I’m just deeply honored. I’m just really moved by it,” she said.
