Ariana Grande is going full Glinda!
On Wednesday, Nov. 18, the 32-year-old singer and actress toted a very special accessory for a screening of Wicked: For Good in New York City.
The star stepped out in a floor-length black dress with embroidered green flowers and a black satin shawl over top. She sported a sleek updo and carried a sparkling wand inspired by her character in the musical adaptation.
The previous night, Grande appeared at the film’s New York City premiere in an edgy take on Glinda method dressing.
The Oscar nominee wore a two-tone corseted gown with a black bodice that featured asymmetrical lace along one side of the neckline and a contrasting ballet pink tulle skirt.
For her beauty look, Grande wore her hair slicked back in a ponytail with a black bow, paired with classic winged eyeliner and blush.

The star has been sporting a darker hair color for the Wicked: For Good press tour. She shocked fans with a brunette transformation, marking the first time in three years she rocked a darker hair color.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Grande revealed the meaning behind the transformation.
“It’s fun to play with the storytelling on the press tour,” she said before explaining how she approached dressing for promotion this time around versus last.

Grande previously encountered her character Glinda’s wand from the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in December 2024.
“I have something that’s extremely exciting and special,” announced host Drew Barrymore in her interview with Grande, 31. “It was owned by the Smithsonian and now it’s owned in private hands. But for the purposes of our sit down, they loaned it to us. Bring out the original Glinda wand, please!”

Grande was immediately moved to tears upon seeing the star-topped wand, which was used by Billie Burke as Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz. “Thank you so much,” she said. “Are you serious right now?”
She then jokingly walked off with the prop, quipping, “Thank you, guys, it’s been fun. Bye!”
“You look so perfect with it,” said Barrymore.
Grande tearfully asked the talk show host, “How did you pull this off? Oh, my God, did you break in?”
“I have to give credit to everyone on the show because literally we were so excited about you coming here,” responded Barrymore. “That is the original wand from The Wizard of Oz. So there you go.”
