Ryan Clark is proud of his football career but even more proud of his kids.
The retired NFL pro and his wife, Yonka Clark, raised his daughter Jaden from a previous relationship, along with their son Jordan and daughter Loghan.
“There are only two things I loved the first time I ever held them,” Ryan told Men’s Health in 2024. “A football and my children.”
His daughters weren’t very interested in football, but his son followed in his footsteps. Jordan played five seasons at Arizona State University before playing at Notre Dame as a graduate transfer student in the 2024-25 season. In December 2025, he was signed to the New York Jets’ active roster.
Though Jordan has admitted that his famous last name made it hard to carve his own path in the sport, he’s proud of his collegiate career and the lessons his father taught him on and off the field. That includes when Ryan, who has pivoted into broadcasting, showcases his sense of humor and hot takes for football fans.
“There is no short-changing football—there is no short-changing anything you do—because if you short-change, it’s going to show up,” Jordan told Men’s Health. “I got that mindset from my Dad.”
Here’s everything to know about Ryan Clark’s three children, son Jordan Clark and daughters Jaden and Loghan Clark.

Ryan’s oldest child, daughter Jaden Taylor Clark, was born on Jan. 25, 1999. Ryan was 19 when he and his then-girlfriend welcomed Jaden.
“You’re the little girl who made me grow up (at least a little). I’ve learned so much from loving you,” Ryan wrote on Instagram on Jaden’s 26th birthday. “When you become a father as young as I did you don’t even know how to take care of yourself. I certainly didn’t know how to take care of another little human. I didn’t know if I always made the right decision, but the decision always came from the right place… from my heart, with love.”
Jaden has always been into fashion. As a teen, she decided she wanted to be a fashion designer, so Ryan introduced her to his tailor.

“We’re kind of hard on our kids, we want our kids to grow up and be successful people,” the former safety told The Washington Post in 2014. “So we asked our daughter what does she want to do with her life, what can we help her with. And she said she wanted to be a fashion designer. So I said if this is something you really want to do, I’ll try to help you.”
Jaden got to design some of her dad’s suits, including a maroon number, when she was only 14.
“Those things were awful, but I wore them with such pride,” Ryan told Men’s Health.
Jaden earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from her parents’ alma mater, Louisiana State University. She went on to earn her master’s in professional communication from the University of San Francisco, where she was the Fall 2023 graduate commencement speaker.
She worked at Social Factor and lives in Texas, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Ryan and Yonka’s older child, son Jordan Clark, was born on April 22, 2001, and raised in Baton Rouge.
Jordan said his dad didn’t push him to play football — in fact, Jordan’s first love was soccer. But in middle school, he decided to switch to the game he had been around his whole life because he felt there were better prospects for his future in the sport.
“My dad, my entire life has kind of allowed me to make my own decisions, which has been really cool,” Jordan told PHNX in 2023. “He knows I’m the one that’s gonna have to live with them at the end of the day.”
Jordan is a 2019 graduate of University Lab High School, where he was a four-star prospect and selected to the Under Armour All-American Game. He then played five seasons for Arizona State University and graduated in 2023 with a communications degree.
“I retired for Jordan,” Ryan told Men’s Health. “Yes, I was old and beat up, but when he told me he wanted to play college football, I felt like I could give him that opportunity.”

Jordan said he had a “chip on his shoulder” about playing in his father’s shadow because he “wanted to do my own thing,” but he reconciled with his conflicting feelings in college.
“My last name and what my father accomplished means a bunch to me,” Jordan told ND Insider in 2024. “I just try to uphold that. I try to do things the right way. It’s not necessarily about my quality of play or how good I am and All-American or whatever. It’s about doing things the right way.”
Jordan finished his collegiate career at Notre Dame as a graduate transfer student. The safety was on the watchlist for the 2025 Senior Bowl and pursued a master’s degree in nonprofit administration.
After Notre Dame beat Florida State University in the College Football Playoffs semi-finals, the father of three shared how special it was to watch Jordan play at his dream school.
“To have him dang near in tears because of the ride that him and his teammates and his coaches have gone on, there’s is no better feeling for a father,” the football analyst said on ESPN’s Get Up. “This is better than winning the Super Bowl … better than anything I’ve ever done in my career because it’s my actual heart living out there on the field.”
Jordan signed to the New York Jets’ active roster in December 2025, per the team’s website.
Loghan Clark, 21

Ryan and Yonka welcomed their younger child, Loghan Clark, on Jan. 8, 2005.
Ryan wrote on Instagram that Loghan has “the most beautiful heart I’ve ever known” and is “the brightest light in any room.”
“I’m blessed to be your father,” he wrote in honor of Loghan’s 20th birthday in 2025. “From the day you came into the world, you’ve been a wrecking ball of joy.”
Loghan has always loved cooking and began developing her own baking recipes from a young age. By 11, she was running her own business, Lolo’s Yummy Cakes, which her parents helped her start.

She graduated from Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge in 2023, then attended the Louisiana Culinary Institute.
“You always knew this is what you wanted to do… and I’m so grateful God gave me the blessing of watching you make it happen,” Ryan wrote on Instagram after Loghan’s 2024 graduation from culinary school. “This is just the start for you babe. You’ve always been my dreamer. Never stop dreaming, & I’ll never stop praying that God makes those dreams reality! I love you baby… I mean Chef Loghan.”
Loghan works as a baking assistant at Les Amis Bakeshoppe in Baton Rouge, and she rebranded her small business to Bumble’s Bake Shop in 2023. She shared on LinkedIn that she is skilled in desserts and decoration.
According to Yonka, all three of her kids have long been wise beyond their years.
“I think the NFL environment has matured them. They are comfortable in every situation,” the mom of three told Wags Redefined in 2016.
