Boosie Badazz wants to give his children a better life than he had.
The rapper (born Torence Ivy Hatch Jr. and formerly known as Lil’ Boosie) spent his childhood in poverty in Louisiana and started his career as part of the hip-hop group Concentration Camp in the 1990s before going solo.
Meanwhile, he realized his dream of having a big family in his personal life. After welcoming his oldest daughter, Iviona, in the early 2000s, Boosie fathered eight more kids during different relationships.
In addition to Iviona (who goes by the stage name Poison Ivi), Boosie’s children include Ivy Ray, Lyric Beyonce, Toriana, Michael Jordan, Tarlaysia, Torrance Jr. (who goes by the moniker Tootie Raww), Laila Jean and his youngest daughter Sevyn.
From their childhoods to hobbies and careers, here’s everything to know about Boosie Badazz’s children.

A few of Boosie’s daughters and sons have followed in his footsteps, pursuing music careers with his support.
“I would love for them to be music entertainers,” he told Vlad TV in May 2016. “My kids are talented, I wouldn’t force them in no direction, but if they choose the music business I would be really happy, because that’s a business I know.”
Boosie’s oldest child, Iviona, raps under the name Poison Ivi. She’s released original songs, music and freestyles, per her YouTube and Instagram. She also started her own record label, 4 Life Posse and debuted a talent platform Poison Bars, traveling the country to judge and showcase new artists.
Boosie’s son Torrance — known by his stage name Tootie Raww — has also pursued a rap career, releasing an album in 2020 under his father’s record label. He is a manager for artists Redondatrack and Matt Badazz, according to their respective Instagrams.
In 2022, Tootie Raww was featured on Booise’s song “Slide Then,” and the following year, he appeared in the music video for “Special Sauce.” Around the same time, Poison Ivi and Tootie Raww also collaborated on a song called “FED.”

While some of his children have followed in his career footsteps, a few are pursuing their own passions.
Two of his kids are models, Boosie said in an interview with Vlad TV in August 2019. He explained that no matter their chosen career path, he supports their pursuits.
“It’s my job to put them in fields to make them successful. Each one of my kids is doing something,” Booise shared. “I’m letting them know that they gotta keep this going. I’m not a parent that just gives them things. I let them know the struggle that’s coming with this.”
One of Boosie’s sons, Ivy Ray — named after Boosie’s late father — has previously shared modeling photos on Instagram and has mentioned launching his own clothing brand.
Another one of his sons, Michael Jordan is an actor who has appeared in films by Boosie’s production company, Badazz Films, including My Struggle and Where’s MJ?.
“It’s what I see in his future and he likes to do it, so I’m supporting my son and trying to bring him success at the same time,” Boosie told Rolling Out in December 2022 after the latter film’s premiere.
He has bought each one a car for their 16th birthday

Boosie buys every one of his children a luxury car when they turn 16 years old.
Speaking to Vlad TV in August 2019, the rapper opened up about the tradition.
“I want them to just feel like they are blessed kids,” he said. “I want them to have everything. When you leave here, all you got is memories. That’s what I try to do with my kids. … If you got money, you’ve got to give these kids memories.”
At the time, Boosie gifted his son Tootie Raww a Jaguar truck, and gave his older daughters a Porsche and an Audi.
Three years later, the artist bought his daughter Toriona a pink Mercedes. Most recently, in January 2025, when his daughter Lyric turned 16, he purchased her a Porsche.

While Boosie is open about the support he provides to his children, he also pushes them to stand on their own two feet.
The rapper has been constructing “Boosie Estates” — his 88-acre property in Georgia, where he built a main house (called the “Batman Mansion”), multiple pools and four mini homes for his children.
In 2023, Boosie began constructing four one- and two-bedroom homes in a small complex on the property for his kids to live in and learn to be responsible and self-sufficient.
“This summer, I’m putting my kids over here,” he told Vlad TV in February 2024. “I want to see how they’re going to take care, and live by themselves. [They’re] 18, 17, 16, 15, so I want to put them on their own … and I’m the landlord.”

Boosie often posts big life moments with his kids on Instagram.
In recent years, he has shared videos of himself spending time with them, from cooking and fishing together to chauffeuring them around. He has also celebrated birthdays and graduations, posting in honor of his daughter Laila Jean turning 9 in June 2025.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE SPARK THAT KEEPS ME GOING 💯MY EVERYTHING 🔥MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER #lailajeanqueen❤️,” Boosie captioned a series of photos on Instagram.
In November 2024, Boosie and his longtime girlfriend Rajel Nelson revealed that they were expecting a child together. Five months later, Boosie announced the birth of their daughter Sevyn Emerald with an emotional video on Instagram.
“I’m a daddy again, man,” the rapper said in the clip. “My daughter’s so beautiful. I can’t stop crying. Man, my daughter here.”
True to his pattern of gift-giving, Boosie gifted Nelson a BMW as a “push gift,” as well as a mini BMW toy for the baby to ride around on.
