Rapper The Game sheds his tough exterior when he’s around his kids: Harlem, King, Cali and Blaze.
The Game (born Jayceon Terrell Taylor) became a father for the first time when he welcomed his son Harlem Caron Taylor in 2003 with his ex, Aleska Jordan. The “Hate It or Love It” singer later got engaged to author Tiffney Cambridge, with whom he shares son King Justice Taylor, born in 2007, and daughter California “Cali” Dream, born in 2010.
More recently, The Game and entrepreneur Shaniece Hairston welcomed their son Blaze in September 2024.
The artist’s outlook on life changed when he embraced fatherhood. “People be out here having kids but don’t really understand the responsibility,” he shared on the No Jumper podcast in August 2022. “You are responsible for another human. You really can’t be doing s— that you used to do.”
With three of his kids nearly adults, he’s looking forward to taking on the challenge of being a new dad to a baby again.
“My kids are all fine, smart, straight-A students and good. So it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age,” he said on an August 2024 episode of the Tacos & Shawarma podcast.
Here’s everything to know about The Game’s kids: Harlem, King, Cali and Blaze.

The Game and entrepreneur Aleska Jordan welcomed their son, Harlem Caron Taylor, on June 30, 2003.
According to a since-deleted Instagram post, Harlem’s arrival motivated The Game to change his trajectory.
“You were & always will be the motivation I needed to alter my lifestyle & become something better than I ever was before your birth. Thank you,” the rapper wrote (via Atlanta Black Star) in January 2022.
The artist’s oldest son was named after the New York City neighborhood, which holds special meaning for him.
“I named you Harlem because that’s the first city in New York I had ever been to and during my time there,” The Game continued. “I felt its strength, culture and I learned a lot of its history so I felt it appropriate for my firstborn.”
Harlem famously appeared on the cover of his dad’s first hit album, The Documentary, sitting in front of a gold rim and wearing a chain with an N.W.A. pendant.

He joked about it years later on social media, sharing an outtake from the shoot and writing, “baby from the documentary album cover is 21. Feel old yet?”
Harlem grew up in Southern California, attending Calabasas High School, per his LinkedIn. When he turned 16 in June 2019, The Game celebrated his special milestone in a memorable way. The rapper hosted a massive party with performances from Trippie Redd, Blueface and Tee Grizzley, according to TMZ. The Game ended the night by gifting his son a BMW.
In January 2021, Harlem received a scholarship to the University of Oregon — a moment which made his dad emotional.
“Wow… just wow. My baby just got a scholarship to the University of Oregon!” he wrote in a now-deleted post. “I’m balling my eyes out right now y’all…. tears of joy like a mf! My dawg, ‘lil game… my first born and my world… I’m so f—-n proud of you boy!”
Harlem accepted the scholarship and currently attends the University of Oregon, where he’s set to receive a bachelor’s degree in advertising in June 2025.
He also works as a brand ambassador for the school’s merch store, a practice player for the women’s basketball team and an intern at a basketball training gym called Shoot360.

The Game and Tiffney Cambridge welcomed their son King Justice Taylor on April 25, 2007.
His childhood was relatively private, but he did attend some events with his dad, like the Celebrity Basketball Spectacular To Benefit Sports Spectacular in May 2015.
A few years later, King celebrated his 15th birthday in April 2022 by having a golf-themed party with family and friends at TopGolf.
Though King’s parents split, The Game has spoken highly about Cambridge, complimenting her parenting skills.

“Tiffney is a school teacher with a master’s degree & 2 other degrees who is an amazing parent & is very capable,” the rapper wrote in a now-deleted October 2023 post.
In honor of King’s 16th birthday, Cambridge dedicated a heartfelt message to their son on Instagram.
“You’re my backbone, my strength, my peace, and my calm. You take care of your mama. You’re everything a son should be,” she penned in April 2023. “You’re more than my child, you’re my friend.”
Though his Instagram is private, King’s bio reveals a love of football.

The Game and Cambridge welcomed their second child together, daughter California “Cali” Dream Taylor, on Aug. 21, 2010, in her namesake state.
While reflecting on how fast Cali was growing up, The Game shared a glimpse of her lively personality that started blossoming at a young age.
“Where is my 3-year-old word for word Beyoncé song singing daughter who would get mad when anyone would interrupt her?” he wrote in an August 2023 birthday message when she turned 13. “If she’s somewhere in there still, please tell her I miss her dearly & all the time we spent together.”
Starting around the age of 9, Cali began modeling. Over the years, she has collaborated with brands like Nike and Rookie USA. She also walked the runway at a charity fashion show for the LadyLike Foundation.
Cali graduated from middle school in June 2024, and her parents were elated. Cambridge shared photos of the event and revealed that Cali had a 3.78 GPA and won an excellence award in English Language Arts.

“I’m such a proud Mommy,” she wrote on Instagram. “She’s everything I wanted in a daughter… smart, pretty, witty, classy, ambitious, and a LEO.”
Speaking to Billboard in December 2024, The Game opened up about how Calif inspired him to focus on his family during dark moments.
“I literally thought that I should have died somewhere between The Documentary and Doctor’s Advocate… my will to survive was purely based on wanting to walk my daughter down the aisle,” he told the outlet. “I had a new mission and a new will to live. That’s what it’s about for me. My purpose was only to be a father.”
Today, Cali keeps making The Game proud. “There is nothing on the earth I love more than your California Dream,” he wrote in his 13th birthday message for her.
The artist added, “You are my lifeline & my every waking day is another chance to be an even greater father to you than the day before. My only daughter, my heart & of course my soul. My best friend & absolute ‘twin,’ I adore you.”
Blaze Taylor

The Game welcomed his youngest child, son Blaze Taylor, in September 2024, with Shaniece Hairston, the daughter of reality star Evelyn Lozada.
The Game revealed he was expecting a fourth child on an August 2024 episode of the Tacos & Shawarma podcast. “I’m expecting one child,” he said, not yet disclosing that Hairston was the mother.
A few months later, in December 2024, he gave fans their first glimpse at Blaze, who has striking blue eyes. “Beautiful baby boy overload,” he captioned an Instagram post. “I love you son.”
Hairston shared the photo, which was the first hint that she was the mother. Lozada confirmed it with her own repost and caption, writing, “This little blue-eyed angel made me a grandma, and I’m forever grateful! 🥹❤️. You’ve brought so much joy into my life that words can’t even explain. I love you more than anything, Blaze Taylor!”

Hairston shared a sweet video rocking her laughing baby in January 2025.
“Those giggles make my heart smile and I’ll be saying ‘I love you’ until my very last breath 🤍,” she wrote.
While The Game is excited about his youngest son, he probably isn’t helping with diapers.
“As good of a father as I am and people think I am, I never changed one diaper. Never,” he shared on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast. “I’m a provider. I’ll give you everything that you need … but I tried with my firstborn to change a diaper… I felt like I got hit by the devil. I was just like nah, never again.”
