TikTokers Alex Madison and Jon Bouffard are gearing up to welcome their new daughter!
The social media personalities announced in June that they were expecting, one year after sharing that they had experienced pregnancy loss.
Roughly two weeks out from their daughter’s due date, Madison sat down with PEOPLE for a candid interview about last-minute newborn preparations, the anxiety and excitement of childbirth after loss and her and Bouffard’s new collaboration with Sonic to announce the fast-food chain’s new salted caramel toffee iced coffee.
“I think I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling nervous at all, but I’m definitely more excited and confident towards the end now that we’re so close to her arrival,” Madison exclusively tells PEOPLE.
“There’s a part in my brain that is still cautiously optimistic but still nervous to just completely commit and say, ‘100 percent guarantee that she’s going to be here and it’s all going to go well,’ ” says the expecting mother, adding that she’s taking the final weeks “day-by-day.”

In March 2024, the influencer couple revealed to PEOPLE that they were expecting their first child. But in June of that year, the pair shared that they had experienced pregnancy loss at 26 weeks, writing on Instagram of the experience, “No words that can truly capture the depth of this pain.”
In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this summer, Madison admitted that the thought of getting pregnant again was “really scary” and that the couple was “filled with a lot of doubt,” even after seeing a positive pregnancy test.
Though some of the apprehension has subsided two weeks out from childbirth, Madison says that she and Bouffard have “waited until the last minute to do anything” — including prepping their hospital bag and setting up their nursery — “because of nerves.”
“We’re currently in crunch time right now,” Madison tells PEOPLE. “We’re very go-with-the-flow.”
Continues the content creator: “I think this might just have to do with the mentality after loss. I’m like, all of this stuff doesn’t matter. As long as she just arrives safely and we both are alive, that’s the end goal, and everything else we will just figure out as we go.”
Madison and Bouffard also have a strong support system to lean on as they enter this new stage — namely, Madison’s mom, who has already aided Madison’s brother through his three kids and will be nearby for any needs the new parents might have.

“We’re very lucky to have family close by,” Madison says. “[My mom] is prepped and ready and knows way more than we do.”
For the social media stars — whose content parodies their real lives through comedic skits — the new baby will also present an opportunity for new kinds of videos.
“We’ve always created content based off of what we’re experiencing in life, so even though we are skit based, it’s all inspired by actual events that have happened — they’re just exaggerated and we film it later,” says the internet personality.
“I think it’s just going to be a natural progression where she is going to inspire new comedic skits that we’re going to do down the road,” adds Madison of her daughter. “Us entering this new chapter as parents, I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of new content and material to create.”
But because they plan to keep their daughter off social media, Bouffard will stand in for her in any comedic skits.

“She will likely already be a doppelganger of him — I’ve already come to terms with that — so just dressing him up, people probably won’t even know the difference,” jokes Madison.
In addition to a new baby, Madison tells PEOPLE, she’s excited to usher in the fall season for another reason: the launch of Sonic’s salted caramel toffee iced coffee, which is available through the fast-food chain’s app on Aug. 25 and nationwide on Sept. 1.
“This season, we don’t need to be consuming pumpkins. Pumpkins should be protected and we need to be consuming other fall flavors,” says the content creator. “When we found out that Sonic was going on this campaign to save the pumpkins, I was like, ‘This is what we need. We need a new fall flavor.’ ”
Madison adds: “Sonic coming out with the salted caramel toffee iced coffee just felt like the perfect fall flavor for the year.”

As a self-described lover of coffee, Madison says, the new flavor is “the perfect combination” of a salty and sweet, “especially in my current pregnant state when I can only allot one coffee per day, this is what it’s [been] going to.”

“I just get jealous watching Jon on his fifth cup every day,” laughs Madison. “I’m like, ‘That will soon be me.’ ”
And as an expecting mom, Madison says, she can’t think of a better season to welcome a new member of the family.
“I’m a big fall person. I just love the season itself,” she says. “I will be going to upstate New York to look at the leaves change because I’m basic and I’m not going to apologize for that.”
Adds Madison: “I feel like it’s going to be perfect for walking her out in the stroller — taking our dog. So I will just be soaking up all of those moments. I even got a coffee attachment for our stroller so that I can enjoy my salted caramel toffee coffee from Sonic while we’re going and just embrace it all. I think we’re ready to just slow down, embrace the fall season, and take it all in as new parents.”
