Chris Hughes Kisses JoJo Siwa’s Forehead in Bed Selfie

Regardless of the stars’ relationship status, Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s PDA-filled posts show no signs of slowing down.

On Sunday, June 1, the former Love Island contestant, 32, shared a photo of himself and the Dance Moms alum, 22, cuddled up under the covers, adding fuel to ongoing rumors about the pair’s relationship status.

In the dimly lit selfie, which Hughes shared on Snapchat, the shirtless Love Island alum planted a kiss on Siwa’s forehead as the “Boomerang” singer rested her head and arm on his chest. Hughes also held Siwa’s head in the snap and, alongside it, added a short message.

“Sleeepinnn beauty,” he wrote in small text.

Around the same time, Hughes also shared photos of himself spending time with Siwa’s parents, Jessalynn and Tom, on Instagram Stories.

In one post, he called Siwa’s dad “my boy” as they played video games together. In another, he reposted a video captured by Jessalynn, in which Siwa grabs him and plants a kiss on his head while they have a “game night” with her parents.

The latest snaps follow a string of PDA-filled posts and outings. It also comes less than a week after Siwa publicly clarified that, despite appearances, Hughes is not her boyfriend.

In an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine on May 26, host Andi Peters mentioned Siwa’s rumored romance with Hughes and suggested that he was her boyfriend. Her response? An awkward laugh and one-word answer: “No.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Siwa implied that whatever relationship she and Hughes do have, it’s not an exclusive one. 

When asked if the stars — who met on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year — had a Love Island-like, “where’s your head at” conversation about exclusivity, Siwa answered cheekily: “Christopher and I have had a lot of chats.”

“We have never gone into the kitchen and said, ‘My head’s not turning any way,’ ” she added.

And, after Peters joked that Hughes was “letting us down,” Siwa shut him down. “Chris couldn’t let me down even if he tried,” she said, adding that the Love Island alum is “the best man.”

In April — before both Hughes and Siwa shared cuddled-up photos from a Mexican getaway — the pair called their relationship “platonic” during a joint appearance on This Morning.

“He’s a gorgeous boy … Look, he’s a great guy. It is platonic, we have a lot of fun together,” Siwa said on the British talk show.

The performer also said that while she didn’t know “any future of anything,” she was “really grateful” for her and Hughes’ “dynamic” and “bond.”

Hughes, meanwhile, said it was “beautiful” to have Siwa with him in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and called his bond with Siwa “a soulmate friendship.” But, he clarified, it is not “the standard friendship that you have with your friends.”

Before she was on Celebrity Big Brother, Siwa was dating Kath Ebbs. Ebbs later claimed that she was dumped by Siwa at the British reality show’s afterparty in an April 26 TikTok that has since been deleted.
