NEED TO KNOW
Erin Cahill is set to bring some of her Christmas movie magic to six real mother-daughter duos in her latest role.
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the actress, who recently starred in Christmas at the Catnip Cafe, is set to host the limited, six-episode unscripted series Mom’s the Bride (working title). The show is currently in production and will premiere exclusively on Hallmark+ in May.
Each episode will follow an adult woman as she plans her mother’s dream wedding — with a little help from Cahill and Hallmark. The series will flip the script on the traditional “mother of the bride” role and honor the mother-daughter bond.

And viewers will get to enjoy so many of the best moments along the way, from cake tastings and dress fittings to the big day. According to the network, “Every ceremony is a love letter from a daughter to her mother.”
“Getting to host this show and to help bring these dream weddings to life is an honor and a joy,” Cahill said in a statement. “Every moment is infused with the warmth and heart audiences expect from Hallmark, and I can’t wait for viewers to share in these truly unforgettable stories.”
