NEED TO KNOW
Household bragging rights might be on the line in the Stefani-Shelton household!
On Thursday, a tractor-driving Blake Shelton announced six more dates for his hugely popular Las Vegas residency show at Caesars Palace. The show dates, though, coincide with the highly anticipated No Doubt residency at Sphere, located about a mile away.
“That’ll be interesting because I’ll be in direct competition with my wife,” he told PEOPLE exclusively before kicking off his residency show earlier this month. “I’m excited about that because I know there’ll be probably a little bit of trash talking.”
Whereas Sphere can cater to 20,000 fans, The Colosseum, where Shelton performs, is much more intimate, with a capacity of just over 4,000.
“Whether we both sell out, there’s a big difference in selling out the Sphere and selling out Caesars, so she’ll have that over my head,” he sighs, joking that it won’t be a “friendly competition” between him and Gwen Stefani and co.
“Yeah, it’s not very friendly when it’s absolute ass-kicking,” Shelton, 49, admits with a laugh.

The couple won’t, however, be competing for fans on Valentine’s Day, as they are set to headline the 2026 Endymion Extravaganza in New Orleans. The way Shelton sees it, it’s “technically” a Valentine’s Day date, since they’ll be together.
“Oh my God, I am so romantic. It’s unbelievable,” he deadpans. “I booked a date for Gwen and me in New Orleans, and I mean, we’re both having to do a concert, but a booking is a booking, and it is a date technically. Technically.”
Shelton plays the Colosseum Friday, Jan, 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31. The newly announced dates are May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 21, 24, 2026, with presales beginning Monday, Feb. 2 before the general onsale starts at 1 p.m. on Feb. 6.
