Heather Rae El Moussa is showing her appreciation for her husband.
In an Instagram Reel shared on Wednesday, Jan. 21, the Selling Sunset alum praised her husband Tarek El Moussa for being her “protector.” The video featured Heather, 38, and Tarek, 44, holding hands in several clips cut together, with “my protector” written over the video in white text.
“Through every season, every dream, and every chapter, I’m so grateful to walk through life hand in hand with you. @therealtarekelmoussa ❤️” Heather captioned the video.
Christina Haack, Tarek’s ex-wife and the couple’s The Flip Off co-star, had a sweet reaction to Heather’s post, commenting “❤️❤️❤️.”
Heather and Tarek, who have been married since 2021, enjoy spending time with Haack, 42, especially as a blended family. They celebrate holidays together and take trips together with their kids.
Haack recently posted about their group trip to Park City, Utah, to kick off 2026. “May have been the saddest amount of snow I’ve seen in Park City, Utah – but this blended fam still had the best trip,” she wrote on Instagram on Jan. 3. “2026 is off to a great start.”
Days later, Heather hosted a girls’ night at her and Tarek’s house and invited Haack to join in on the fun.

Heather opened up to PEOPLE in June 2025 about being a mom to her and Tarek’s son Tristan, who turns three years old on Jan. 31. She is also a stepmom to Tarek’s children with Haack, daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10.
“It is my favorite role that I’ve ever done in my whole life and more fulfilling than I ever thought it would be,” she said of motherhood at the time.
“I love being a stepmom to Tay and Bray. Tristan is the light of my life. He grounds me, he makes me so happy. I call him my little earth angel because he’s just perfection. I could be coming home from a long day, a long shoot, filming, and I walk in the door and he yells, ‘Mommy!’ and runs and jumps in my arms and it melts me.”

Along with being a proud mom, Heather stars on the house flipping competition show,The Flip Off, alongside her husband and Haack. The show was renewed for a second season in August 2025.
At the time, Heather opened up to PEOPLE about how she would love to team up with Haack for the competition show.
“I think that it would be super fun,” she said. “I think that people would love to see Christina and I working together and beating my husband because he thinks that he could beat us, especially in a design contest.”
